We booked 3-bed room. The room was big to accommodate 3 people. The staff who could speak Chinese was nice and helpful. The hotel had e-bike to rent for only JPY800 a day which was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. However, the 8/F corridor had strong smoking smell.

Directly connected to Wakayama Station. Because it was in front of the station, there was a CVS and so on. It was on the upper floor of ”Kino Wakayama” in the station building and dinner was done there. The building was clean and the bath was very comfortable with a view of the Kino River. As a concept of the whole Candeo Hotels, it is called ”unique ４ stars”, but it has somehow lacking impression that it does not become ５ stars. We chose Marina City Hotel as a place to relax in the vicinity. The building was beautiful and the surrounding facilities and the response of the people there were great, but the response of the hotel employees was ruined It was. When I went to Wakayama from a friend, I was very kind, so I was told to go to Wakayama again, and it was the reason I chose this hotel this time. When my friends and I were talking about this, they were tears.

This ryokan is located in front of the Osaka Bay in the small bourgeoisie of Kada, 100 mts from the very beautiful sanctuary of Awashima-Jinja and 400 mts from the shipper for Tomogashima. A ship is made available by ryokan to travel to Kada station (Nankai line) to go and come to Wakayama city. The Japanese style rooms (tatamis on the ground, futons and hyper moulded couettes) are very spacious with a loggia with a XLL view of the sea and the Tomogashima and Jinoshima islands, especially for the sea side rooms. The dinner and breakfast, as well as the Japanese as it is due in a ryokan (traditional Japanese hostel), are a real pleasure for eyes and papillae. The service is courteous and careful, the charm of the atmosphere slightly over the year of the places operates. And of course, the onsen (Japanese public bath with hot source) indispensable for any person staying in the hotel is great with impressive view of the sea !!! Close to JR Wakayama station, whilst not on the most exciting side, there's still plenty of food options for dinner. The hotel is what you would expect from the Toyoko Inn chain if you've ever stayed with them before: efficient check in, good service, small but clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is the usual basic Japanese fare with toast as a Western option, with limited seating. They strangely seemed to be lacking knives, so other hotel guests as well as myself were using forks, spoons and chopsticks to try and spread the jam on the toast! A well priced hotel which gives me the basics I need for a good night's rest.

the wakayama castle is over looking from the elivator and maybe some rooms can see it also .. but sad to say the room is not so clean,,, lot of dust we found on bed board...

Standard Japanese business hotel, albeit with an onsen and newer than most. Breakfast is adequate, with western coffee on offer. Location is not central, but within 10-15 minutes walking distance to Shimo-Isaka station, restaurants, and a supermarket. Not exactly geared towards non-Japanese travelers, since the staff hardly speaks English and the hotel information given is only in Japanese. Extremely satisfied with it considering the affordable room rate.

Very close to the station. The transportation is convenient. Quiet enough at the same time. Zhongyou has a Japanese room.
