I am very happy that I made the choice to stay at this hotel. The staff at the front desk was very welcoming and kind. My room with a single king size bed was large had a chair to sit in, had a desk, microwave, refrigerator, dresser, closet, and an area for the coffee maker with additional shelving. Although my window faced the expressway, you could hear some road noise, but it was not terrible. The window has room darkening curtains, so no light came into my room after the curtains were closed. The hot breakfast in the morning had options of scrambled eggs and sausage, as well as the standard cereal and waffles, that you find it many Hotels. It was nice to have the eggs and sausage as gluten-free options.

We were happy to get a handicapped room, but the grout in the bathroom was very dirty and the toilet seat was very loose when sat on. Both were unacceptable for me. Would check the room before settling in if we stay again. Staff were very friendly and always had a smile.

This is my go to hotel when I stay in the Utica area to visit friends and go shopping. I haven’t been here for a couple of years and find that the hotel needs some house keeping/maintenance. Halls need to be vacuumed and garbage such as pizza boxes need to be picked up outside room doors. The inside of the elevator could use some windex. Some touch up with paint would be welcomed.

A/C unit wasn’t sealed to wall, leaving a hole you could see outside with. This let in a lot of cold air and noise.

Desk staff was very nice and accommodating but breakfast was really bad, and we had no room service for the three days we were there. We asked the desk attendant about it and he said he would 'try' to get our room cleaned. We tipped the maid when we left for the day, and she was cleaning the room next to ours. Ours was next, but never got cleaned. Not going to use La Quinta again.

Amazing staff, very friendly and accommodating. Rooms could use a few updates (paint, trim) but VERY CLEAN which is all I need.

I booked online and unfortunately when we checked in, the pool is indefinitely closed for maintenance. We usually choose a room with double queen size beds but figured our daughter would like her own bed so we picked the king deluxe room with the sleeper couch. The regular bed was about as comfortable as the pull out bed. The past two years that we have stayed had much better quality mattresses. It was a quiet stay - wish the pool was open.

We stayed for a week and our room was never freshened up. I had to go get anything we needed. Included breakfast was there some days and half there other days. Leak on the roof dripped onto our ceiling whenever it rained.
