We arrivd at 8am and wasallocated a room,despite the stated check-in time of 3pm. Albeit I was given two bedroom instead of one bed room, I did not ask for change as my friend'sroom wasnear mine 144 and 148. Check-out time was 11am in stead of noon asstated in my voucher.

It was very late when we arrived in Ushuaia, and we found blood stains on the mattress under the sheets. We wanted to change it, but in exchange for a "why" from the waiter
For two days in a row, the light in the bathroom tripped, the shower curtain fell to the floor, and water leaked under the washbasin.
On the day of check-out, I specifically asked the front desk clerk what time was the latest check-out time, and the answer was 6 p.m. When we came to check out at 1:00 noon, we were told that we had to pay 20,000 pesos because we were checking out late, and they said plausibly, "You only asked me what time is the latest time to check out, I didn't say it was free."

Staying at a hotel on the mountain and the view is beyond praise!
The breakfast restaurant every morning and the fire roasting in the evening have a sense of "back to the past", but at the same time, it is very comfortable.
However, the breakfast content is actually a bit monotonous, but this is Ushuaia after all, so you can’t ask for too much.

Superb staff. Always helpful, friendly, and professional. Good location outside of town — just a 5 minutes drive to glacier & downtown, with taxis easy & available for around 5USD. View of town & glacier are great, but surrounding area dirty and run down… with ruins of a place in front and an aging driveway to the hotel. This is an old property that needs an update! You can’t see from the photos, but it has aging furniture and equipment from the 1970s. Some is European chalet style and some ranch style… but other items are just OLD. But it was CLEAN completely throughout. Breakfast had quite a few options, but didn’t change even one item in our 3 nights. Same dishes in same location. Bar was OK for drinks, but we didn’t eat dinner in the hotel. So overall… average. Clean. Hot water. Comfy beds. Decent breakfast. You probably aren’t going to this area to spend time in the hotel… so not a bad option.

The last stop before the Antarctic, a great way to meet up with fellow travellers and a comfy bed and room to spend the night. The view of the town and Beagle channel is stunning as is the glacier at the back of the hotel. The food was good and the staff very friendly would recommend.

A lovely hotel in a stunning location. We found the rooms well built and insulated for year round comfort and beautiful views. The staff are lovely, proactive and helpful. Breakfast are very nice and the whole building is filled with character. This is the only hotel that I know of that's within walking distance of glacier! On a practical note, the courtesy bus is helpful and the local tour operators pick you from the font door.
