Caleta Tankah

Beautiful beach, $300 pesos day pass. We had a great time, it’s accessible for young children. Food is ok . They only have outdoor showers and no dressing room only bathroom, which are really clean. Included is the cenote in the jungle which is really near. They have camastros, umbrellas and beach beds. Overall it’s worth the drive from Cancun

incredible place to spend an afternoon resting, the food is good and the atmosphere is very calm, I loved coming here The prices are reasonable, the service could be better but the cenote and the cove are incredible. It is worth coming to this place on a vacation on the Mayan Riviera.

The place is amazing but outdated, service was terrible, waiter insulted us in Spanish for asking for ice, they said it close at 6 but reality is at 5 pm, they just want people to leave, no towels, you get nothing for the 300 pesos to get in Horrible service amazing place

Love this place! I have been here a few times and it never disappoints. The beach is beautiful! Water is fresh and perfect for a hot day. When family and friends visit we make it a point to bring them here. We were on the day beds and it’s a minimum consumption of 600mx per person. It’s reasonable. Servers were very kind and patient. They are stretched a bit thin lots of work only two servers so patience is key. But they are very kind. Will def continue to visit!

On a previous trip in 2022 my family, a group of 12 people visited Caleta Tankah. The food, atmosphere, location, cleanliness….everything was so perfect and beautiful we returned again on that same trip. Fast forward to 2023…. I’m not sure what happened but the food was horrible. Only 4 items from the whole menu were available. The food we did receive was absolutely nasty. Drink options were limited. Chairs at the cafe and lounge chairs were all filthy. We were shocked and disappointed to say the least. They have spent so much time and effort on their social media efforts, they need to redirect some of those funds into cleaning and offering a decent menu. We vacation in the Yucatán 2-3 times per year but I doubt we will ever go back to Caleta Tankah. Very sad to see the lack of good management as this place could be a true gem.

This is not a hotel. It is multiple beachfront buildings with 4 apartments in each building. They are outdated and in need of renovation. I expected that. What I didn't expect was dirty, smelly furniture and a toilet that leaked all over the bathroom floor and smelled like sewer. I also didn't expect the apartments to be so far from the office/restaurant/beach club area. In fact, once you check in at the office, you have to get back in your car and drive through the jungle to get to the apartments. There will be no one at the buildings to show you into your apartment or help with your luggage or anything. You can walk the beach to get to the office/restaurant/beach club area, but its quite a walk if you are in the furthest building, which we were. I was excited to visit this place because of the cenote and the beautiful little cove area at the beach. Both of these were disappointing to bet honest. I don't like to give bad reviews but I cant find a lot to be positive about. The front desk staff were not very friendly or anxious to help. They definitely are not making the journey over to the apartments. Once you check in you are on your own! For the price we paid, I expected more!

I liked that it was very quiet and private.. it’s a very basic hotel but the views of the ocean really do make up for what they lack in pizazz around the property . The pool.. I wouldn’t swim in the pool 😬

The photos of the property look way nicer than reality. The room was okay, albeit outdated. The two issues that will never ever bring me back are the bed was terrible, and the smell of raw sewage was disgusting.

Right on the water. Very peaceful. The most reasonably priced beach club in Tulum. Highly recommend!
