I wrote a review on *********** and got a very rude reply. I just wanted to point out that even if you love dogs (I do) you don’t want barking dogs all night and even if you love music (I do) when you retire for the night you want to sleep not to be disturbed until 4 in the morning by music and then by barking dogs. I know this was not the fault of the hotel. However reviews are to help intending guests choose the right hotel. At the time of our stay the staff were friendly and helpful, I did not expect an abusive reply to my review. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. Nevertheless we felt, even at Tulum prices that this was a bit basic and poor value for our money.

At least the room was clean and spacious. The bed was enormous and everything was clean. It it was very basic and a bit rustic given the price. The first night we were kept awake until 4am by thumping music from a nearby club. The next two nights weren’t much better. The breakfast was okay but there was no choice. The staff were friendly.

El hotel es sencillo, con habitaciones de paja y tul para insectos alrededor de la cama. No había presión de agua ni salía caliente, y por otro lado había una cucaracha en la habitación, lo cual supongo es lo normal al estar entre tanta flora. La cama no era muy cómoda. El desayuno es increíble, casero, abundante y completo: café con leche, yoghurt, frutas frescas, tostadas, croissant, mantequilla y mermelada, y huevos. El staff es muy amable y agradable. Atendido por su propia dueña. Si no buscas demasiada comodidad, puede ser un buen lugar. Nosotros necesitábamos estar cómodos ya que estábamos muy cansados, así que solo pasamos una noche.
