Hotel Syoen

The location is very good. It's a five-minute walk from Toyama Station. The room is not big. It's an old-fashioned business hotel. It's clean and hygienic. Because I could hear the sound of the tram in my original room, I was changed to a large room opposite. It was very good.

It was a very bad night. The Japanese people next door kept talking. The wall seemed to be separated by a layer of wooden boards. The sound insulation was very poor. I couldn't bear it and knocked on the wall several times. The other person's voice became quieter, but I still heard it. It was very clear until about 1:30 in the middle of the night. I have traveled to Japan ten times. This is the first time I sent a negative review. It was not given by me. It was given to you by the Japanese in room 323 that night.

Although it is like a guest house and the facilities are a bit older, it is very clean and has a large space, like a bachelor apartment. Heating is in place, although it was only autumn when I went. The bathrooms are really good. Every bathroom in Japan during my trip is a master of space utilization. The water pressure is sufficient and the drainage is smooth. Without exception, I admire them. Boiling the kettle is pretty cute hahaha. The location is good, just a minute or two walk to the train station. The area around the train station seems to be the busiest place in Toyama.

The hotel is close to the train station. The room is large, quiet and peaceful, the Wifi signal is strong, the bathroom faucet is large and hot, the quilt is clean and tidy, luggage can be stored, ice water is prepared, and a hot water kettle is provided.

The overall hotel decoration is relatively old, but it is better because it is closer to the station. The ventilation system is not very good. You will smell smoke every day when you come back from outside. Obviously there are no smokers here. If you want to clean the room, you must tell the staff. There is no sign in the room for guests to post at the door of the room. By default, towels are hung outside the room every day and staff will not enter.

It was a bit of an old hotel, so maybe it was inevitable, but the toilet didn't have a shower, so I had to hold it in and leave without using the toilet. Other than that, I had no complaints.

The location is very good, close to the JR station, and there are delicious restaurants nearby. It is indeed an old hotel, and the wallpaper is torn, but the lady at the front desk is very helpful and patient. The bathroom is also relatively small, but clean.
