I stayed here August 16th, and Sept 24th. My first stay as usual the spa was excellent, the food was excellent. But there was a wedding right outside of our window which we were not informed about. The wedding music was blasting until 3am and afterwards the people were running up and down the halls screaming so we did not sleep a wink to say the least. After making a complaint we were offered a free stay and decided to take time away from the kids and try again. The spa again was excellent we had facials and did the Nordic baths, and had a jacuzzi room. Yet again, the people across the hall were screaming and partying until 4am until my husband asked them to quiet down. We had to call the reception again at 7am as they were still yelling and screaming non stop. So to say the least, the walls are paper thin and there doesn't seem to be any noise regulations in the hotel so that people can actually get some rest. No one seems to notice the excessive noise or do anything to prevent it which is very disappointing. So in 2 stays in 2 months, I slept less here than I did with a newborn at home that we were supposed to be vacationing away from... at least we didn't hear the wedding this time.

The staff were cheerful and friendly. The restaurant was very nice. The room was only ok. It had not been cleaned as well as it should. The hot water only got warm and the room was very dark ( needed my reading lamp to do work on my laptop).

We decided to treat ourselves after a busy Christmas and book a stay at our favorite place in Timmins to kick back and relax, and we were not disappointed! The Junior Suite (jacuzzi & fireplace) is a great choice if you’d like to enjoy yourself without ever leaving your room. That being said, you’ll want to enjoy the resort and experiences during your stay! Our room was immaculately clean when we arrived, just turn on the fireplace and jacuzzi and you’re ready to unwind. After your jacuzzi you can rinse off in the large shower in your room that comes equipped with two shower heads! We always enjoy the restaurant for dinner, the food and beverages never disappoint. The staff at the resort is what makes this place so great, from check in to check out you’re always well taken care of. Can’t wait to try out the Sleeping With the Wolves experience!

Nice area, loved the quietness here. The only negative experience is checking in (which was no fault of the hotel). Our reservation was made by third party (our host) and on check in the hotel required a visa to have on file during our stay, which is standard practice for all hotels, but we didn’t provide one so they had to contact the person who made the reservation. It didn’t take long for that person who made our reservation to call in their visa, it worked out at end but using third party (*******, Bookings, etc.) doesn’t release person’s visa (to have on file during our stay) to the hotel who made the original reservation for us. I hope this made sense. Thank you

I have enjoyed my stay. I think the building as to its standards it needs a renovation. But staff was amazing and services were awesome.

The restaurant dining area wasn’t clean, the food was ok, expensive considering it was all pre-made and there was no chef. The Nordic spa was ok the ‘hot bath’ wasn’t that hot, it was only around 99-100 degrees.

I hated that, as seniors we were forced to climb stairs to our second floor accommodations and not be offered a better accommodation on the first floor. Also, that we’d have to continuously go back down those dreaded stairs to get our room access card fixed because it rarely worked. We were attending our mother’s funeral and when asking for a place for my sisters and family members to sit and chat, they wanted to charge us. Only at Cedar Meadows would they be so inconsiderate! Even the Holiday Express, where my other sister had stayed, had offered us the dining room the night before. So, we’re we impressed with this hotel? Not on your life?

Comfortable quiet stay, but more than one proper wheelchair accessible room is needed. There’s only one with an accessible bathroom and it only has one bed. Breakfast was cold and not great, but dinner is fantastic.
