Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre

The beds were very comfortable. The shower head was terrible providing a light mist. I have thick medium length hair and it took forever to get my shampoo rinsed out. We had a poolside room. Our patio door was facing the pool. We couldn't figure out how to open it. I didn't bring it up to the staff since our stay was brief. The hallway was super noisy. We were fortunate that other guests were quiet once we went to bed. The room was clean. The staff was great and tried to accommodate us for a second night stay because they were previously booked. There was a security guard in the lobby ensuring everybody's safety. Overall, our stay was good. I would return.

First night here and not impressed. I pulled the blankets to go to bed and the sheets are dirty. Gross. Microwave is dirty. They need to clean the rooms and take some pride. Dirt is noticeable even on the chairs and walls. Hopefully they start cleaning the rooms

I was there for a very short stay; arrived at midnight, to pick up a rental car and leave the next morning so I just needed a clean comfortable quiet place to stay that wasn't too $$. This should have been fine for that. It's definitely a bit outdated but for the price... I mean look - if it's quick stay, if you aren't staying in the room, or you're with a family and just enjoying the pool, it would be "fine". HOWEVER.... The place is large, and I'm a female traveling by myself. I was followed to my room, and I was really uncomfortable also being on the ground floor. I did delay getting into the room, but I still felt unsettled, which was further exacerbated by rude (to say the least!) invitations and calls to my room at like 1-2 in the morning before I finally thought to call the front desk to see what they could do. They immediately put the phone on DND, but it still left me uneasy all night. Further to that, the cleanliness and maintenance wasn't good. The toilet didn't work properly - it ran all night (the actually flush stuck) the fridge was warm, and there were multiple very long black hairs on the pillow as if the bed was slept in. The staff were were very pleasant and helpful, I'll give them that. I think things could be "decent" here if they could find a way to address some of these things... but unfortunately i just had a very bad experience.

This “hotel”if you want to call it like that, is messy and expensive! I’ve never felt so miserable as I felt staying in this place for few hours during the night after driving for the past 16 hours from Toronto. Horrible experience! I don’t recommend this place to anyone! 😤 And I have a lot of photos that can prove my point! Please do yourself a favour and try something else if you are ever in that area! We asked the from desk if we are able to change the rooms because I was pregnant back then and the reply was: “All the rooms that we have are the same. And they are clean! “ If this is clean I will let you be the judge of that. I was scratching all night and wasn’t able to sleep at all and you can see why! This is unacceptable from my point of view!

Great hotel; quick check in, clean room, comfortable beds and abundance of parking available for guests. Would stay at this hotel again!

Thus was my firat time staying at the Victoria Inn,,I was greeted with a smile and check in was very fast. Answered all my questions and concerns. Will be stay there again.

Booked for family stay cation for Christmas holiday. Mainly because of the slide and pool area. Check in was not good. Was given a room which was already occupied (very embarrassing) then was given another room which was an extremely long walk for someone which mobility issues. Due to covid, pool times had to be pre-booked which were 45 min time slots, so not very long. We booked at check-in but when we went down we could not access the pool area as all doors were locked. We Had to go all the way to front desk in our swimsuits which then we were asked to show ID and vaxx passes which we did not have on us, as we dont carry personal belongings down when we go swimming. This should have been specified and asked when booking pool time,for quicker easier access. We had to rebook for a later time due to the amount of time it took going back and forth. Kids were crying. Terrible customer service when I explained to them how much easier it would be if they did these things in advance and their response was in an angry tone 'it's just how it is'. When got to pool area hot tub was cold and i was informed it 'needed a part' big disappointment. I had also called 2 days prior to trip to ensure pool area was open and was not informed about the hot tub. That likely would have changed my mind. The Kids did love the slide. room was very nice, modern and comfortable that was the only good part.

Property was in a nice location, large parking lot, easy building access, friendly staff, pool area was great and rooms were clean.

This is a run down old hotel, the room are tries and the linens need a refresh. The conditiin of this hotels in just sad overall, I used their airpořt shuttle, this van should be off the road it is not safe. They cheap out with an antenna system for the tv is the room, so if your hoping to keep up with any shows your following well good luck. Hope you have steaming at home.
