The room hadn't been completely cleaned and ready and then there was evidence of bed bugs on the sheets in the morning!

The sheets and comforter had stains, the power went out while trying to blow dry my hair for work, the lady working that came to let us know the power was back on appeared to be wearing pajamas and a hoodie that was 5 sizes too big, the lady that checked us in was completely untrained and ended up charging my card twice. I was very disappointed in our stay in many ways. Please take the time to properly train your staff and if there is a dress code, it definatly needs to be enforced!

This is the only hotel now in Thief River Falls that is pet friendly, so bring you and your pets here!!! Its not a luxury hotel, its an older hotel that will meet your basic needs and not over priced.. The floors are laminate, which is pretty smart for those with allergies and is cleaner than carpeting. The bed was nice, the heat was good, fit the bill. The front desk ladies were kind and very helpful. Breakfast is basic, cereal, toast, waffles. If you need a hot breakfast, McDonalds is just down the road.

This hotel is more like a motel. The quality of the sheets and towels are very thin. The walls are thin, you can hear everything. It smells of smoke everywhere. I did not feel safe in the hotel. It needs a lot of updating and better care.

This is posted as a Non-smoking hotel
The hallway reeked of cigarrette smoke.
I have severe COPD + asthma.
I complained to the management and told her due to health reasons i could not stay there. She was very understanding and reversed all charges to my credit card.
The manager apologized and said she would take care of the situation.
I give the manager kudos for the way she handled the situation.

When we attempted to check in to the facility at 7.45 pm after a long day of driving across country we were asked if we could wait half an hour or so while the room was cleaned. We were surprised but did as asked and went to a nearby restaurant for the wait time as there was no place offered in the hotel to relax and wait.

Supposedly the hotel was double booked by ******* so we did not receive the two double rooms that we requested, but one room with a king and one with a queen. The staff was very accomodating, and the room with the king seemed to have been recently renovated, but the single room needed updating. Overall the building cosmetically looked as if it needed updating. The pool was nice and only 4ft deep max so great for the kids.
