Hotel Isabella

Taormina City Center
Although you can't enjoy a private beach in winter (the winter beach is closed), you can feel the Christmas atmosphere everywhere on the street. The location of the hotel is very good, just walk around the town to eat and walk. The balcony of the room faces the street view and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of TAORMINA every morning. The hotel staff is also very enthusiastic and will assist with various issues. The next visit will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Hotel Isola Bella

Please do not go unless you value incredible views and fantastic customer service. Yes, the rooms are tired , outdated, shower is ridiculously small, pillows are lumpy, however, what more than makes up for that is first class customer service, views and yes views again. Cleanliness, really good. Pool area, well again probably due an update but again fantastic views. Thank you everyone who made my holiday so fabulous. I have been to Sicily a few times before, and especially loved it this time due to the unique setting. Unless I wanted to explore the east side of Sicily on my next visit I would definitely book this hotel again. Solo travelling and not put out the back, single room with balcony and sea views
Hotel Bel Soggiorno

This property has amazing views; the location is within walking distance to the main village; there is wonderful full breakfast; parking on site and friendly staff. This property is an older vintage hotel with a family history. But like everything in Taormina, there are stairs to navigate. (An elevator is currently under construction.) We had an amazing room (#24) with a full terrace overlooking the gorgeous gardens and stunning sea. The room and the whole property is full of vintage and classic furniture, art and ceramics. As in any older building the walls are thin; some other guests could be more considerate. You can walk to the main area of Taormina in just a few minutes - but again, the whole town is nothing but stairs! We left the car in the hotel parking lot for our whole 3 day visit. We walked everywhere including to restaurants. For a tour of Mt. Etna the company picks us up at the road. Just make sure the town gondola is 'in season' if you want to go down to the beach without driving - it was still closed for the winter in the first week of April. We found the staff very helpful and friendly - especially Sebastiano who handles the extensive breakfast offerings with covid protocols. There are both hot and cold offerings. It is all very good.
Hotel Condor

You never know when you book online if what your are booking is what you will actually get when you arrive. In this case, the Hotel Condor exceeded all my expetations. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I splurged and got a balcony view double room and the view was amazing. Large spacious room and bath with a balcony that overlooked the bay. Breakfast was a treat on the Terrace with the same views. A huge buffet with a great selection of local items and international items as well. I highly recommend for your visit to Taormina.

This is a fabulous hotel!! I write a lot of reviews and I probably would give this hotel a 5 but the bed was just too hard and I don’t like just a sheet ( although pretty normal for European standards). But other than that this place is outstanding for my liking!! The fellows are the front desk are so helpful and kind. The breakfast is amazing with excellent cappuccino. The location can not be beat. Right on the main cobblestone street with a balcony to sit out and enjoy your wine. Amazing atmosphere! It has a safe, good blow dryer, decent bathroom lighting and a small shower. The air conditioner works well. If you are a larger person the bathroom may be tight including the shower. Although you are right along the main busy pedestrian area, when u close your balcony doors it’s silent. Very quiet hotel but I was here at end of October so that could of been why as well ( temperatures still 25 and people swimming) I really really like this hotel. Probably one of my favourites I’ve stayed at in Europe. I hope to be back!

We had a fantastic stay at il Piccolo Giordino. It is perfectly located for everything. You practically live on the main street with a wonderful stairs to the hotel. There is a very good, fresh breakfast. Pool on the terrace. The most important thing is the staff who did everything to ensure you have a perfect holiday. Special thanks to Luccia who served a wonderful coffee and Rosario in the reception who gave us nice recommendations for good restaurants and leisure activities. Thank you very much for a perfect holiday!
