A good hotel that is well located in Taipei. The ben though the exterior is somewhat dated, the interior is adequate and well kept. Breakfast is pleasant and service attentive. The only word of caution is being given a room that is interior facing and can be somewhat dark in the day time; maybe uncomfortable for those who yearn for natural light.

I chose a room with separate bath. The bath is not a Western-style bath that you can lie in. It’s square shaped and about four feet wide and long. You can sit in it, but you can’t recline in it if this is something you’re looking for. The hotel offers an outstanding breakfast at the Tavernist. Breakfast here is easily more delicious than at more expensive hotels. Even the coffee was great. Breakfast is a la carte rather than buffet but the servings are perhaps even excessively generous. The hotel location is also very good. I wasn’t that familiar with Taipei when I booked but the location turned out to be convenient. It’s a few minutes walk to Zhongxiao Fuxing station, which can take travelers to a few tourist spots, and about a twenty minute walk to Huashan Creative Park. There are Japanese-style department stores with restaurants in the basements and upper floors in addition to local cafes and restaurants.

seems that some hotels forgot that their point is to make a stay enjoyable. I was just happy that my stay was over this hotel. Stayed here a couple years ago and enjoyed that experience a lot more. Now maintenance is clearly needed. Noise from room above and rooms to the side penetrated and prevented a restful night's sleep. Coffee machine broke and was promptly replaced. Telephone was not working properly. Was not replaced. Finicky AC thermostat kept going on and off and the clicking was obnoxious. AC had a slight drip that kept me up the last night. Cleaning schedule starts at 9:00 a.m. and that noise is noticeable and wakes you up early. Elevator is oddly slow to close and arrive. Breakfast is repetitive. Some of the staff is helpful and some of the staff is overwhelmed. No gym or other amenities. At check out nobody even asked how my stay was. The sad thing is there are worse hotels than this one in Taipei.

Positives: - The team's service and attitude are consistently professional and courteous throughout my entire stay. Everyone was professional. No one came across rude, impatient, or defensive. They thanked me for choosing them and also took responsibility/ownership on things they did not do right the first time. - They took notes on things you said and requested with immediate response or within 24 hours if needed more time. - They practiced active listening, asked clarification questions to ensure what I needed/requested. - Excellent breakfast, full of variety. They kept standard items standard by providing them daily but also added some variety by changing 3-5 dishes. All foods are fresh and prepared on site. - Housekeeping service had great attitude and was efficient in cleaning throughout the entire stay. - They have an elevator. Most hotels in Taiwan have elevators. - They are happy to help moving your luggage upon request. - Excellent hot shower temperature and pressure - Amenities provided in the room is abundant with good quality - They are trustworthy in honoring pre-agreed upon check-in requirements. Before booking this hotel, I asked about the check-in requirements and what I felt comfortable providing and what not. They agreed and executed accordingly. I appreciate how their words and actions are consistent, which is very different from some hotels (Best Western always acted inconsistently, Marriott, Hilton, and IHG hotels are spotty, some are good, and some are bad) in the US and Canada where they said/agreed one things and acted differently when I arrived at the front desk for check-in. Hotel services in Taiwan are generally much better in terms of service attitude and honoring their words. - Effective expectation management and communication - When raising issues, they took it with positive attitude: they always first owned it by providing a sincere apology, tried to solve it immediately. If they couldn't solve it right away, they asked for more time and provided a timeframe on when it would be solved. Throughout my stay, 50% of issues were solved immediately, and 50% were solved within 12 to 24 hours. No issues remained unresolved. - Common areas are always very clean and organized. Negatives: - Not always have people at the front desk to help open the heavy doors. Better to change it to auto-sliding doors. - The elevator carpet is gross and dirty: time to change it. There was a hair hidden underneath the hand towel on first day - raised the issue and they fixed it the next morning. Should not have missed at first place. - There was a dirty blue cup with watermarks all

The hotel was very conveniently located, near the mrt station and the shopping area. The room was also very spacious and comfortable. Surprised that the bathroom had a bathtub! Bed was comfy too. Although the hotel is far from the city, everything about the hotel itself is amazing. Book this place to get away from the craziness of downtown, but be sure to leave from here more than 4 hours to get to the airport if you're driving. It can be troublesome. I’ll return here again because I enjoy the ease and air of the room. It fits~ Both Double and King rooms are nice and the Internet is blazing fast in case you need to stream or hold online meetings.

The hotel room was nice with all the necessities but I would recommend the hotel to invest in an air purifier for the room with no windows.. the air quality inside the room was not good at all and it release a musty smell. (I sneezed too much inside the room, i’m very sensitive with dust) But The location of the hotel is amazing with lots of restaurants nearby..and is very convenient!

Stayed for two nights. The facilities are really good and I feel very impressed. A down payment of NT$3,000 is required before moving in. I also understand this rule. Smokers should smoke outside. It’s a pity that NT$2,200 was deducted from the final payment. They said that the bags on the bedsheets have taken up the color and they cannot be washed and will be scrapped. Seriously. I understand and accept the deduction, but the price is also very expensive. I don’t understand. What’s hard to say is that the quilt itself is not entirely white. Stayed at Chez Nous during our visit to Taipei. Ideal location in Da'an for all the key attractions: National Museum, Taipei 101, Meakong cable car, Chiang Kai-She memorial and Shilling Night Market (all accessible via the local metro station. Staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly and offered their help whenever we needed it. Breakfast in the hotel was excellent, different dishes every day but all with a ********* theme. The hotel also has the benefit of being located above an excellent cocktail bar - Weekend. Overall the perfect place to stay if you need a base close to the centre of Taipei.

Breakfast is only served at 8 o'clock, you can book the day before, I have already put it on the table at 8 o'clock in the restaurant and waited for me:) The room is small, but simple and clean, and the bed is comfortable. Tofu heads are intimately provided and the socket is convenient. The bathroom is small, but the cleaning supplies and hair dryers are complete, and there is a toilet, which is very comfortable! The hotel is also a cafe. After the opening is over at night, the space of the cafe is open for tenants to use, making up for the small space. Tea snack refrigerator is also prepared in the guest room area. The staff is kind and cute! Convenient transportation, located behind the MRT Da'an Station, Great choice for short stays.

Excellent service from staff, who are mostly friendly and polite. Location is unbeatable as just few steps from Zhongxiao Fuxing MTR and also can take CitiAirbus 1960 from Taoyuan Airport to hotel easily. However on return trip the bus stop is a little far away near Howard Hotel, wish they would re-open the nearby bus stop near hotel back to airport. So as our luggage was quite heavy with many food items including mangoes, so we decided to take a taxi back to airport but this can be arranged with hotel direct at a special price NT$1,100 (it’s actually a private car like Uber) as much cheaper than taking a taxi that cost NT$1200-1300+. Also next door is Amo Bakery which sells excellent cheesecake, honey cake and cookies, must buy as it’s so good which we bought some upon departure day as quite similar taste to what we bought from Hokkaido before. And nearby has many great eateries, surrounded by stores like Sogo, Watson’s, Carrefour, Cosmed and a huge Poya store to stock up on beauty related stuff, must visit:)

There are UBike available for rent when you get a Taiwan E-sim and register a UBike account. Cycle from hotel to Metro station only 5 mins. Hotel swimming pool, steam room, sauna room and hot water pool are very well maintained. Friend housekeeping, fitness Centre staff and front desk staff. Especially the female doormen, give clear instructions on how to get to metro stations and nearby eateries. Will stay at this hotel again when I visit Taipei. One last thing, guest room is big that can keep all my three 30 inches luggage’s.

Location was very convenient. Its a 10 min walk to the taipei 101 MRT station and right under the hotel is a 7/11 convenience store with a MOS burger fastfood chain. The building does seem old but the interior and rooms were recently renovated. My only problem was their plumbing in the toilet. Stayed for three consecutive nights, the waiter and valet parking service are very good. The Chinese and Western breakfast is simple and varied. Parking is limited, luckily there are spots. The water pressure in the bathroom is strong, so be careful when using it to avoid flooding the bathroom 😂 It is 400 meters away from Dongmen MRT Station, and the nearby Dongmen Market is very convenient to visit. Although it is not the most upscale hotel, it is very good to sleep, thank you for your care.

The hotel cleanliness is just ok, but some of the blanket show stains and make me and my siblings itchy. Maybe because we have sensitive skins and eczema but it's still a thing to be pointed out. The hotel soundproof is good and it's a spacious room indeed. The breakfast wise is just ok but will get bored if need to eat a whole week or so. Overall it's OK.

First of all, the location of the hotel is hard to find. It is in a residential area and there is no sign outside. You need to ask at the front desk of Fengju Hotel. There will be staff to pick you up. The hotel is on the 7th floor of a business building. The room is big and clean. It is quiet at night. The wifi is powerful and the facilities are complete. Breakfast is at the restaurant of Fengju Hotel. The buffet is not bad. The location of the hotel is really good, 5 minutes walk from Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station, so it is convenient to go everywhere. 3 subway stops or half an hour's walk to 101 Building, 1 station to Taipei Main Station, 2 stations to Ximending MRT, 3 stations to Songshan Airport MRT or 120 Taiwan dollars by taxi. It is also 2 stops away from the duty-free shop, and next to the hotel are Pacific Sogo and Sogo Sogo. The room fee is only 350. The price/performance ratio is too high. It is very convenient to go shopping and eat. I will stay here next time.

Only the location is great. The room had a strong musty smell, which was obvious as soon as you entered the door. Hot water will become very hot after being used for a while. The air conditioner is too cold, There is no heating at all, It can be very cold in winter in the middle of the night. In the morning, the sun is directly exposed to the window due to the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor. At seven or eight in the morning, I heard the sound of the windows expanding and contracting. Very annoying. Downstairs is the entertainment venue. There is music bombardment from midnight to morning, If you're afraid of noise, don't stay here. Couldn't sleep at all. Sound insulation is very poor, You can hear the phone ringing at the counter outside; Tenants can watch TV and hear it. Access to the entire building is complicated. There is no control, If you are afraid of noise, I really don’t recommend it. Wouldn't consider staying here again. But the waiter is very enthusiastic and does his job well. give

Highly recommended👍🏻 The hotel is located at the heart of shopping district besides MRT station. Lot of eateries nearby and the breakfast is good. They even serve free flow of snacks (assorted biscuits, mini pancake, etc.) after breakfast time. Really enjoyed the bubble tea from Orange Tea shop which is at downstairs only. Will definitely book this hotel again when I visit Taiwan.
