I understand it's budget hotel, but the level of cleanliness is worst than 1 star hotel

Dirty, messy, and poor! The bedding was not changed when we checked in, so we went to the front desk to ask them to change it. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was so loud that it was impossible to sleep.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights after arriving in Surabaya from Banyuwangi by train. It's located directly beside the river, just five minutes' walk from the station and also very close to the Plaza Surabaya shopping mall. The hotel is comfortable and modern. There are a few issues, namely low water pressure, inconsistent WiFi and a very local-oriented breakfast (think fried rice and sate rather than eggs and hash browns). But the bed was great and the view from the top floor is worth a look. If you're taking the train either in or out of Surabaya - or if you like a good rooftop pool - then this hotel is a good option.

Can't believe I got excellent service with affordable price. Rooftop pool has a very good view. Cozy & clean room. I'll definitely come back here! Location is just 3 mins away from Gubeng station (walking).
