Seoul Seocho-gu Hotels

Hotel is located near Sinsa station. Location is almost center of the Seoul city and easy to go famous destinations via taxi or metro. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly. They helped us a lot during my stay. The room service was good they clean your everyday.

Even though it was the day before my check-in date, they kept my suitcase with me, which was really helpful. However, I contacted them in advance via their website and trip.com to see if it was possible to leave my suitcase there, and on the day I called them about 3 times, but I never received a reply. I was a little worried about not being able to contact them (I was able to take my suitcase directly to them on the day and have them leave it for me). Overall, the rooms were simple, clean, and spacious enough, and the front desk staff were generally kind. It is unclear whether Japanese can be understood because the conversation was in English. Although it is a little far from Gangnam Station, it is fun to walk as there are many cafes and restaurants along the way, such as Olive Young and Daiso. It was also about a 5 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. There was a restaurant called Chamsolleongtang in front of us across the crosswalk from the hotel that was very delicious. I entered by myself. There is no coin laundry. If I have a chance, I would like to stay here again.

Great Hotel and super close to the City Express Bus Terminal. Staff were super helpful! Clean room and very spacious as well.

I really liked the apartments. The room is quite large and clean. Shower cabin with door. All furniture in the apartment is new. During the entire 7 days of my stay, I never heard any of the neighbors in the apartment, although I saw them living nearby. Sound insulation is good. A huge plus of this apartment is that there is a washing machine, stove, coffee machine and even a drying cabinet. True, you can’t dry a lot of things in it (there’s only room for 2 hangers inside). It was easy to check in, the apartment number and password for the door were sent by email on the day of check-in, it was very convenient. The airport limousine bus stops not far from the hotel, which is very convenient. The only negative is the cleaning. No one cleans every day, as is usually the case in hotels. But this is not a hotel, but an apartment, so I’m not deducting a point for that. But it is possible to order 1 cleaning if you stay more than 4 days. I really liked that there is a large Lotte Mart supermarket within a 15-20 minute walk from the apartments.

There are many kinds of breakfast, the room is very comfortable, and there is plenty of mineral water. The only shortcoming is that you need to find it when you want to go to the hotel from the bus station, but you won't get lost.

The location is very good. It's about three minutes away from the subway station Gangnam Station in Gangnam District. There are office buildings everywhere. There are many restaurants. The location is good, the service is good, it's clean, and there's not much to be found in the room. However, it was really hard because it was so hot. Even with the air conditioner on, it was hard because it was so hot because it was on the top floor. I think I'll avoid it in the hot summer.

If you are not familiar with Kosiwon, it may be difficult for long-term residents because the staff is not resident. The room requires a normal key and a deposit of 10,000w at check-in. The room is a little over 2 tatami mats in size, and although the shape of the room is different between the inside and the outside, the basic structure is a shelf above the desk, a clothes closet next to it, and a refrigerator below. The lights in the hallway are turned off day and night, probably to save electricity (even if someone turns them on, they are immediately turned off), so the inside of the building feels a bit dry. The shared shower on the 4th floor is old and a little intimidating, which may be hard for Japanese people. The showers on the 2nd and 3rd floors are clean and bright. Wi-Fi had routers on the floor and in each room, but it was a little choppy, probably due to aging, so there was no problem with smartphones, but PCs were difficult to use. It is suitable for people who want to keep their accommodation costs low as it is easily accessible from the station despite being a cheap hotel. If you walk to the other side, you can reach ”Kyodae” station on lines 8 and 9 in about 10 minutes, so it's convenient. Airport limousines can also be boarded on the main street. There is a large mall with Lotte Mart on the other side of the station, and it is convenient because it also has a food court. There are many local restaurants in the back street, and it is crowded with local office workers, so you won't have any trouble staying. Since the staff is not resident, if you tell the time when you check out, they will come to return the deposit, but it is also a bit of a problem.
