Copantl Hotel & Convention Center

I stayed overnight in SPS. At Copantl Hotel & Convention Center they have a friendly staff, a prime location, and delicious food (best breakfast in town!),. On my next visit to SPS, I would not hesitate to stay with them again! Highly recommendable! Thanks for going above & beyond!

We stayed here one night for a wedding being held at the attached convention centre. Firstly, I want to comment that this is a very safe property with high security at the only entrance, so we felt completely safe walking their lovely grounds. The pool area is very nice with ample room for swimming and a shallow area and splash pad for children. We took advantage of the poolside bar. Our room was a bit on the small side but perfectly adequate for our one night stay. The room and bathroom were very clean. Comfortable bed. VERY powerful AC (which is important in SPS). All the rooms have windows which open fully, so just be aware if you are travelling with small children. The included breakfast buffet was also very good, there is even a tortilla station for fresh hand-made tortillas. We also ate at the restaurant the convention centre. Their food is very good and they have an extensive cocktail menu. The gin cocktails are delicious. The highlight of our stay was the EXCEPTIONAL service provided at the convention centre. The food and beverage staff clearly take great pride in providing excellent customer service. We were simply guests at the wedding, not VIPs, and yet we felt like rock stars. The servers were so attentive, anticipating our needs, and going out of their way to make sure every guest had everything they wanted. We never went without our drink being refilled. Truly the best service I have ever experienced at a function. Coming from North America, the service at other functions I have attended does not even come close. You have a really great staff here. The food was outstanding as well. Very high quality for a large function. Lastly, I also want to point out that I appreciate that you can contact the hotel through WhatsApp. Being from North America, I was able to contact the hotel easily using WhatsApp and also call using the app them to give my credit card information for booking, which saved me money and time from having to call internationally. Much appreciated. I would 100% recommend for anyone staying in SPS. Muchas gracias por todo.

This is a large and beautiful hotel but old. The lobby is beautiful and they even have a couple of shops. There’s a beautiful swimming pool and three tennis courts in the back. The hotel room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I would recommend this hotel

The renovation of the facilities is appreciated. You can see the interest in making them more comfortable and modern. Excellent service from all the staff. Comfortable and clean facilities. Excellent Breakfast Buffet. I would suggest you have coffee makers with coffee in the rooms.

The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, clean and tidy rooms, large spaces to work or relax. Very good food service in restaurants. Service staff is very attentive and attentive to the needs of customers.

This hotel is a major risk for guests. Everything is so old and it’s breaking out. In the bathroom the lever of the basin broke. They sent an electrician to fixe it, 10pm and he took one hour to realize he needed parts and the whole thing took two hours. Something was not ok and the basin was making noises of refilling every three minutes. I left laundry and they took the laundry but didn’t delivered on time. The reason was that I didn’t offered a method of payment and that $9 The front desk boy was laughing at my situation. The elevators are so old bumpy and noisy that is a serious hazard for people. Save your time and your life staying somewhere else.

Room was just amazing!!! I've got an upgrade and the views were astonishing! I have in front of my window, an immense tree! I just love it! The surrounding area, beautiful in a great city. Really safe and quiet, my night was splendid!

This was a bad experience form booking to checking in/out. The staff were very knowledgeable helping me, hover they were so busy that too long wait the book the room. My room was spacious, cleanse was okay, bed sheep were spotless and fresh. the drivers who took me to the airport were vey friendly they mad sure that I was confortable, buffets was okay, the waitress very professional. However, I give 3 start because the reason I booked the hotel with five start was to have a good sleep for a 16 hours plane trip I took the next day. The room noise level was not acceptable I got room 303- it seem this room is connected with the shower, noise was hard to handle. I was awake from 2:45am until 5:20 am. I went to front desk to complain, but staff were unable to identify the source of the noise they acted like didn't know. They offer me a different room, but I didn't want to move my mess at 3:00am I was too tired for that. at 5:40am I went to take a pool time, It seems like was a hard party the night before, it was trash all around the pool. One of the staff tried to clean up because of my comment pretty sure he is the security guard.

Service, meal access, hotel grounds are good. The only negative experience was I was not able to sleep well. I arrived to check-in around 1am and my room was right next to the elevator. The next morning I requested a price adjustment, it was rejected with kindness.
