The resort food was very bland. The rooms were full of ants. The gardeners used leaf blowers early in the morning and all day making very annoying loud noise. Would not recommend or ever return. Squirrels ran around all night on the roof making noise. Massage was very hard even though I specified soft.

It is a very nice place to stay , lot of green and great for person who like to take photos. I love the idea of the resort and love the resort museum also. I can spend whole day easily in the resort , there are many things to do there. For breakfast, it is good for both northern and western style. Great place and nice place to stay for your relaxing time.

The place was once a tobacco drying barn. Its vast shady green garden of trees and lawns creates a relaxing atmosphere. House covered with leaves is so cool. We were here for a dinner (didn't stay). The restaurant served various types of cuisines including Thai (typical and Northern) and European (Italian, French,...). Our dishes were Lanna hors d'oeuvre, Northern Thai minced pork Larb, Stir fried squid with chili and salt, Sliced redtail catfish in clear Tom Yum soup, French onion soup, and Mixed vegetable salad. Then, we tasted their signature Makiang (local fruit) ice cream. Awesome!

This is a great accommodation if you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet place to spend a few nights. The rooms and restaurants are immersed in a well kept tropical garden which feels like an oasis. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. Cons: you are about 40 min outside of Chiang Mai city center.

Was there with a group of friends . Checked into a few room. Some rooms are newly renovated some are a bit dated. Room a bit dusty. Almost every room have problem with shower area , water can’t drain properly. Room comes with hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities. Breakfast was good .

Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts).
The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns.
The guest rooms are nicely appointed, however they are old and need some maintenance to update them. I saw a couple of guest room/barns being renovated while I was there. But even the older room I was in was still spacious and charming.
If you feel like having an escape in a forest resort, with nice breakfast and coffee, peaceful gardens, and maybe 20 minutes from Chiang Mai, then check this out.
