San Juan Water & Beach Club Hotel

San Juan beach water club has always been my go to when I one time Puerto Rico. They are currently in renovation. They are switching owners, so they are changing the look of the place and updating it.

for the tv not to work should’ve been something mentioned during check in

One elevator worked, we had bugs flying in the room. Not a good stay. It should have been noted that construction was going on all night long.

We called Travelocity the entire trip for help and a refund starting from check in and still have no response at looking for a full refund

Great hotel great staff great view everything was good only issue was they were under construction and only had 1 working elevator but it was definitely manageable would recommend the stay

Staff was friendly, but the hotel is extremely noisy starting at 7 am each day. You hear very loud construction and can hear every person walking and talking in the hallways. We had to switch rooms our first night because of a water issue. Both rooms had hair on the towels and bed linens. ******* listed the room as having an ocean view but we were facing a building with no views at all. Very disappointed in the overall stay.

Check in was great, we were early and the room wasn’t ready but they held our bags and let us know when it was (which was early) room was awesome, comfortable bed, shower was great! We had an amazing breakfast the next morning! Only stayed for one night but we would definitely stay here again! The hotel was under construction, but it didn’t really factor into our stay, we checked in on a Friday and there was no construction on Saturday however, if we were staying during the week and construction work started early into the morning I don’t think I would have been super happy.

I had no idea nor was I notified that the hotel is under construction. There was scaffolding and construction debris blocking what should be the main entrance. We had to enter through a side alley doorway everyday/night. Also, one of the two elevators was completely out of order and a staff member told me that it has been broken for over 3 months now. The slow, available elevator stopped working twice during our 5 day stay and had to walk 5 stories to get to our room or to leave the building. The construction was an eye sore for being in front of such a beautiful beach. The broken elevator was such an inconvenience and the one that was working would take forever stopping at every floor and is so small, 3 people with luggage would be too tight for anyone else to hop in. The room was amazingly decorated. The bed was so comfy and the lighting design and shower were great. I appreciated the room so much and helped to make up for the construction and broken elevator. The rooftop pool is so small and there are only a few chairs there with no umbrellas, so we never used it. The location is the best thing about this hotel with the beach right across the street and the hotel providing towels, umbrella and lounge chairs was the best.

The manager was extremely rude when I asked for a refund so we could stay at another motel that was not under full construction and only had one elevator working
