We checked in at 4:00 and our room wasn’t ready. They checked our luggage but left it by the side of the counter. It was very busy with not just guest but tourist. Anyone could have taken our luggage. So, my son sat with the luggage beside the counter(weird). I finally asked to be put in a room at 5:00. It was frustrating because we were tired. We got in around 5:30. The rooms are way out dated!! The smell was terrible and my eyes were itching. I have allergies and I love that they are pet friendly but I think they should have designated rooms for people that have allergies to animals. The bathroom was terrible. We took luke warm/cold showers daily. I also found white powder around the bathroom door our last day. It looked like they had pulled the carpet up and put pesticides down??? It was convenient but the price we paid due to the holidays…just wasn’t worth it. I’ve stayed at many Kessler properties and was really taken back by how terrible the rooms(we had 2) were. The restaurant was really pretty but food was mediocre(we had breakfast).
It was disappointing but nothing we could do. Definitely, won’t be going back.

This hotel is in need of a makeover. Rooms were super clean, but felt like they were stuck in the ‘80s. We ate the first night in the bar and the food was just OK. We had to send back 2 dishes. That was a disappointment, especially for what they charge. Service was excellent, from the front desk to the valet guys.

I have stayed there for several years and hope to continue. I brought my sister with me as a special treat. She had not visited St Augustine for many years due to her health. Living just up the road in Jacksonville it is a true getaway and I would not ever consider staying anywhere else than The Casa Monica.

Really nice hotel. Staff was great. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and bathroom was good size. Only issue was water temp goes from warm, cool to hot while taking a shower.

Everyone was so helpful during our stay, the front desk personnel, the managers, the cleaning staff and the restaurant was amazing. The service was superb and the food was delicious. We had breakfast and dinner. Excellent. So convenient to everything.

Our room had a great mattress, bathroom and size for a King Bed. The artwork throughout this property makes it so enjoyable to walk thru whether on your floor or even using a stairwell to the Lobby. Having a starbucks in the lobby was a bonus. Didn't care for the pool since it was 3.5" so kind of an oversized kids pool. Jacuzzi and work out room was solid.
