The Atlas° Hotel

Great spot to take the family for a stay cation - as long as you dont eat at the on site restaurant! 3 separate items we were served were moldy/spoiled. Great food options within walking distance tho.

Not appropriate for the business traveler. Every power plug in the room was inaccesible behind a large piece of furniture. The arm chair in the king room was a single pullout that was not at all comfortable to sit on. There is no included breakfast. There is a waterpark so likely great for families but no included breakfast is mot really family friendly.

This place is very old, the TV is from 2004. The room is very old. Bad service from the front desk people. I made a request at the reservation that was not honnored and the front desk person pretended to check wihtout even looking at the screen.

The hotel looks high end, but it isn’t. The rooms are beds weren’t very comfortable. The waterpark was great, but very busy. Hallways were super noisy with multiple teams of some sort. We ordered breakfast and all of it was uncooked. He didn’t eat it and wasted a ton of money. Raw eggs, raw Dough, raw has browns, raw bacon. Two of us ate in the hotel and two of us ate at the restaurant and all had the same Issue. They wouldn’t accept my visa on my phone where I keep all my cards. They needed the actual card which was frustrating because it’s the same thing just in the screen in tap form! So then I tried to use my visa debit card and they wouldn’t accept that either. Get with the times!

I could not just pay using debit or visa debit which was inconvenient. The front desk agent interrupted me when I was checking in and spoke over me when I was talking about using another form of payment other than my credit card. Every other hotel I’ve ever stayed at has accepted other forms of payment. Upon checking out they overcharged the room rate. It took about 15 minutes to fix and credit this back, check out etc. which was tough with children. I booked the room on ******* vs the hotel website directly as when I was looking there were no available rooms on the hotel website. This seemed to be the issue. Maybe if the hotel would not oversell to third party websites this would not happen to guests. The wifi did not work, it had good times and times when it would not connect at all. At capacity, hotels should be able to accommodate all users. The room was fine but stained carpets and wear and tear. The radiator in the bathroom was falling off. It was facing the water park on the second floor and quite loud until the pool closed. Fine if you have kids etc. The pool was great, but that was the draw to stay here and the other pools and water slides at numerous hotels in Regina are good too so not a huge differentiator. The check in experience really soured our stay. I was really looking forward to our stay but it was a disappointment. We won’t be back.

Hotel was ok. It’s an old hotel that they’ve tried to make look nice. Band aid solutions. Soaps and towels were less than desirable. Bedding looked nice but wasn’t great. Breakfast was expensive and sub par. I’d probably look for a different hotel next time.

The pool staff were SO kind. And very enjoyable to be around. The cleaning staff did an excellent service with our room (we were there a week) when we requested. The only issue we had was the third night, I believe the pool chemicals or hot tub chemicals were slightly off as both my kids had VERY bad reactions. I called the front desk to ask what was used, bromine or chlorine and the front end staff or night manager who ever it was clapped back and said “I personally check it every hour, for sure can not be the chemicals” however it was confirmed by the pharmacist to be chemicals. No biggy, they weren’t severe, but very uncomfortable. They got cream, there were fine in 24 hours and then back in the pool each day for the remainder of our trip. I feel like after that was mentioned they were quite diligent about checking the chemicals because I saw it being done a couple times after which was really reassuring. All in all it was a good over all stay with our kids. They enjoyed the facilities, so did we. Thank you

Can’t beat the waterpark and location. Beds are comfy and they have great service. Always our go to when staying in Regina
