Old shabby hotel catering to visiting local tourists, mainly. If you're a foreigner, the drivers of the cabs waiting outside the Hotel will rip you off 20-30 yuan unless you pay attention to the meter and immediately yell at them in case of overcharge. (Almost) noone at the check-in desk speaks English unless you chance on a manager. There're two teenage consierge boys at the main entrance, who boss the incoming patrons around and tell them how to live. The restaurant prices are on a par with those at Shangri-La hotel, but with far fewer choices and lower in cooking quality. The only BIG advantage if you're a swimmer like myself: a former German ”Kaiser” swimming beach is right accross the road. It's now callled ”Bathing Beach 1.” Awesome for doing non-stop laps for an hour. And even then: you can easily get to the beach by metro from any other Qingdao hotel. Just get off at Huiquan Square (Line 3) and come out through Exit C.

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the room layout is perfect, elegant yet elegant, and the service is considerate, which makes people feel extremely comfortable. The lady at the front desk also gave me carefully prepared souvenirs. Thanks to liliy and daisy. Their attentive service created a feeling of home for me. We booked 4 nights in a Classic Suite and the room was absolutely lovely! We had a great view of the city (especially awesome view from the bath!), the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was very clean. Staff were very helpful and professional, even though we only spoke a little Chinese. Breakfast buffet was nice with a decent selection of Western options as well. Would definitely stay again!

This hotel is much better than the last time I stayed in it. The location is very close to Taitung Pedestrian Street, surrounded by snack streets. The room is clean and well-equipped. Fine place, kind staff, not exactly authentic or anything Chinese (or Irish) but does the trick. However don’t expect quality coffee despite the name and the heavy advertisement about “coffetel”. They were unable to provide any on the first day we arrived and when getting one on the second day, it was probably one of the worst coffee I’ve had in a long time lol. Convenient enough location.

Super good, super clean, and the bathroom is fragrant. There is also a projection or something. The landlord’s beautiful sister is super nice. My mobile phone was taken in the middle of the first day and the trip was delayed. The landlord’s sister has been comforting me. And when I finally came to Qingdao, I met my needs in every way: I wanted to heat something halfway, and I directly helped me move the microwave oven. I rarely write reviews, but this experience is really good. I wish the store business is booming. I also hope to always meet good guests. It is not easy to be a hotel. I choose each other.

The room was small and clean. The quilt and pillows were torn in some places. The windows cannot be opened. You can only sit on a stool and watch the sea view. During peak tourist season, the price is almost 900 per room, which is more expensive than Shenzhen or Guangzhou. Forget it's expensive, the main reason is the poor quality of the rooms. My family described the bath water as being like a child's urine. The bath water is pitifully small. The entire bathroom is not too small, but it becomes pitifully small after adding a bathtub. TV programs are available on only a few channels. Many other channels are blue screen. The network was so bad that I basically couldn't connect from 6pm to 10pm. The front desk explained to me that there were too many people connected. To put it bluntly, it cannot be called a hotel, it is just the kind of guest house in a small train station. Being able to sell it for this price is also a big deal.

Excellent hotel!! Staff is very very friendly, location is perfect to visit most of famous site in Qingdao center, and the “location” in “mountain” gives a very good feeling while staying in city center. Only one minus is the noise at night. We could hear many noise coming from other bedroom or just the fridge in the room.

The best place in the hotel is that you can park, and there is a big brother who helps me park. This is really very good in Qingdao! It's too difficult to find a parking space. This is the second time I have stayed here. The last time I stayed here was in summer and it was very close to the seaside. The sea view room was great. This time it’s winter. A little yellow duck themed room was prepared in advance, and the children have been playing in the tent. The service is also good. Just downstairs is the subway station, which is very convenient to go anywhere.
