We find a clothesline or hooks to hang up various things. Steak or fish in salt was absolutely great. Although I would have liked to see you use a very hot stone to cut the steak. Would highly recommend the hotel. The location unforgettable. Right on the harbor and that comes in with quite a few floating villas…

Wonderful stay with the family at this hotel. The food is excellent and the service is always great. We will definitely be back and looking forward to it. The staff are always helpful at organising things to do in Porto Cervo and around the area.

Rude and lazy service, uncaring and unaccommodating. Worst and dangerous positions for guest to park their cars. Only good thing is the view from the top to the harbour, and it is walkable to Porto Cervo. Don't stay there unless you absolutely have nowhere else to stay in Porto Cervo. Don't expect much as Porto Cervo service can be so disappointing given the prices!

Lacking good customer care and not a four star standard Our experience as a half board guests travelling with a good quality agent we have used on many occasions was a very disappointing experience We found that as residents the service we received was well below a four star establishment On arrival we were requested to have our bank card photo copied which we accepted to unable us to have an account for any extras we incurred during our stay The first night we arrived for dinner no menu was available to enable to choose our meal this was rectified at our request but during the stay no wine list was ever presented and the waiter served us with a wine on his recommendation not very professional On one occasion the restaurant was busy with walk in diners and the female supervisor was more interested in giving these customers her attention and failed to get our signature for a bottle of water we had consumed at dinner To our amazement she later sent a waitress to our room at10.30pm for her docket to be signed which we felt with disbelief was most unprofessional as the hotel had access for payment The management need to improve the treatment of holiday companies guest if they want to retain their business We have notified our agent of our our poor experience

Just home from a week in this hotel .. after reading the reviews night before we flew I was totally dreading what I would find ! But thankfully, whilst I would agree some improvements are needed, overall we had a very pleasant stay Firstly we received an upgrade from sea view to a suite which was well received and meant we had plenty of room. Including a walk in wardrobe which was great. The breakfast was good.. not a massive choice but it was all very nice what we had. Staff for us were all very helpful and polite. View from hotel is fabulous Improvements Cushions on our balcony chairs in desperate need of replacement … we covered them with pool towels to hide the stains and rips ! Sun beds could do with a clean. The resort is extremely expensive.. we booked this as a last minute break so hadn’t done any research! Going mid October does mean most shops are closed also restaurants, we had only a handful to choose from , but the plus was those open all served excellent food I would say the hotel is four star as listed but definitely in the lower range

The staff were excellent and very customer focused The property is old and dated and in desperate need of a refurbishment. The rooms smell quite mouldy The location is fantastic and walkable. Unfortunately in the low season most of the shops in Porto cervo were closed . People should be aware of that if planning to go in low season

We have just arrived home from what should have been a wonderful holiday. Our plan was to see some of the island by booking trips with Jet2. Hotel room, the air conditioning appeared not to be working. When asking at reception for someone to show me how it worked I was told that it was controlled by reception who then adjusted the temperature setting, there was no notice in the room to state this, again other customers were less fortunate than me as they were told the temperature couldn't be changed, I witnessed the receptionist having the ability to do so. Hotel Restaurant: hidden service charges called coperage for the use of plates cutlery etc 15 euros per head for sitting outside on the terrace, 7 euros per head for sitting inside. 7 euros per head for eating a 10 euro sandwich under the gazebo by the pool bar (this cost was not displayed anywhere by the pool, picture below). The restaurant charges were mixed in the very small print with the allergen information at the bottom of the menu. We were too embarrassed to move as we had already been served drinks. To add insult to injury the food was lukewarm / cold when it eventually arrived. The buffet breakfast was ok but there was no variety on the hot food selection unless you paid an extra 8 euros for a poached or fried egg. Steps leading down to the pool area were very uneven and rustic and had no handrail, the other set of steps were the same however did have a handrail that was covered with shrubbery growth and you couldn't access the rail properly. All guests of any age found the steps awkward. At the top of the steps there was water / sewerage leaking from a manhole cover, it was smelly, they spent a lot of time trying to flush the blockage away and didn't manage to stop it leaking so they covered the area with fake turf to help soak it up, to access the pool area from the hotel you had to walk over this wet turf. Pool not cleaned properly for two days (because it was forecast rain, it rained after 5 on just one evening!) water thick with insects and plant debris. They had a robot bottom of the pool cleaner that could only reach so far, the shallow end wasn't cleaned at all and pieces of plastic from bottles were fished out of the pool by one of the clients. In all the years I have holidayed I have never seen a pool so dirty, especially at the shallow end where you entered the pool. Met the Jet2 rep to book some trips. I wanted to book a wine tasting trip as well and was told there needed to be a minimum of six people booking. I then asked about the Taste of Gallura cooking experience to be told again a minimum of six people required. Why advertise trips!! There is no mention in the small print of the Jet2 brochure of the need for a minimum of six people. We were sold a boat trip with and agent not in the brochure. Tuesday 13th June a sign went up stating we had restricted access to the pool, restaurant and the lounge bar (only bar in the hotel) as there was to be a private funct

The rooms are shoe boxes, smell mould, sheets and towels dirty, no noise insulation u hear all the toilets flushed, no amenities - so misleading ! Sunbeds also dirty, half the staff don’t speak English and the other half rude. The wine bar is the only thing worth visiting. I checked out after 2 days - totally disgusted from the dirtiness !! Breakfast a joke, my husband got food poisoning from lunch. Zero value for the prices they charge

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Extremely poor service, super expensive, towels and bedsheets of very bad quality. The worst choice ever! The helpdesk is clueless on providing ideas on where to go at and almost no one speaks English to properly communicate.
