Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa Phuket

Thavorn did not disappoint. If you’re looking for a very relaxing, quiet getaway, this is your place. The staff was exceptional from greeting us when checking in to serving us drinks at the swim up bar. The two restaurants offer a good variety of food but you will want to get off the resort once and a while and their shuttles to Kamala and Patong are limited. There is a great Thai restaurant a five-minute walk away. The pool is worth staying here alone. It’s huge and never feels busy. We will be back!

Relaxing good place and nice swimming pool

This is the best vacation I've ever had! My whole family was being taken good care of by the staff here. We enjoyed our stay here so much. Every staff wears a wonderful smile and makes you feel at home. I love the breakfast and the mini zoo. The animals are so cute and well trained. The resort has a private beach, a pool, a pier. You can also join their yoga and meditation courses. I really want to join the wellness center too but it's a little pricey. PS: the welcoming drinks are amazingly delicious. Thank you for everything. I will definitely come back again.

We are a family with one child and one infant and we always book hotels baby sitting and kids club services. Unfortunately, despite that trip.com shows up that they have these services, but both services not available and I was really not happy with that.

I recently had the opportunity to extend my stay at Thavorn Beach Village Resort and Spa Phuket due to a missed flight, and I must say it turned out to be a delightful experience. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in accommodating our last-minute request for an extra night, ensuring a seamless transition to a new room. Although our new room was located further up the hill, away from the beach, it was a luxurious haven. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities one would expect from a high-end resort. The panoramic views from the room were stunning, making up for the slight inconvenience of having to take a slow-moving roller coaster car to the lobby area. Speaking of the facilities, I can confidently say that they are nothing short of excellent. The resort boasts an array of amenities catering to various interests and preferences. Whether it was lounging by the pool, indulging in spa treatments, or taking part in the recreational activities offered, there was never a dull moment during our stay. One aspect that truly stood out during our extended stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. From assisting us with our luggage during the room change to offering helpful suggestions for local attractions, their attentiveness and professionalism were commendable. Despite the unexpected change of plans, Thavorn Beach Village Resort and Spa Phuket remained a five-star experience. The comfort and luxury of the room, combined with the outstanding facilities and the hospitality of the staff, made it a memorable stay. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and indulgent getaway.

Mosquito heaven! If you get bitten by mosquitos avoid this place at all costs. We had to check out early because of the humungous and the amount of bites we were getting. Resort is very old and in in major need of a big refurb. Rooms smell and had to call back the cleaning team 3x to clean the mirrors. Not a nice feeling upon room arrival to realise dirty room, bad smell and mosquitos inside the room everywhere. We checked out early but staff were friendly and helpful

My second stay in the hotel is less than satisfactory. The room is a little dark and there are not enough electric sockets to charge cell phones. Staff are helpful but somehow they forget to set wak up calls I requested. Food is ok and can be improved.

Our family stayed for 6 nights in this hotel. In general the hotel has a good location which is not far from Patong. It has a small private beach. Staff are in general polite. It will be better if they speak better English. The rooms are clean and are OK. We like the cottage in the beach where we can step out into the beach in a few seconds. Food quality is average here.

Where should I start... I can only say that we did not want to leave on the day of check-out :( I tend to make accommodation arrangements well in advance and for Phuket I did that. However, 1 week before travel I found some issues and hence in rush started looking for a new accommodation and came across Thavorn. I can only say, luck was on our side! What a decision to select this resort! Food: We pre-informed the hotel about our vegetarian preference and if possible some Indian dishes. Guess what, every day in breakfast, we had a section of "Vegetarian dishes" and that too with Indian food options like pav bhaji, chole bhatoore, idli, medu vada etc. This was just amazing! The variety at dinner/lunch was a bit limited at the restaurants but still decent. I would rather suggest take the complimentary shuttle to downtown and visit restaurants there if you are here for long. Resort and beach : We booked a garden villa so beach was only a stones throw away. It's a beautiful and private beach with sitting areas, canopy's etc. laid out. You will enjoy it! The resort is huge! I understood there are over 180 rooms. Every corner has a story to tell. Lots of flowers, greenery and well maintained! Room: The garden room we booked was very spacious! Loved the shower and the space it had. The POOL : Pool has to be respected with a separate section! The lagoon pool is so so amazing! Every corner of the pool gives a different feeling. In my experience, have never come across such a nice concept. Maintaining it is a challenge as there are so many trees, bushes around. Still the staff keeps cleaning on a regular basis. Staff: Every staff member went above and beyond to help us out! I cannot recall the names but my thank you to each and every one of you :) So, overall, if you are looking for a nice resort with a private beach, don't look any further. We generally do not travel to the same location twice. But if we do come to Phuket, we will simply book Thavorn! Small suggestion : While booking we noticed several hotels/resort present a perk about "welcome drinks" when you book directly. This was the case here too. I would suggest to include this as a default, no matter how the booking is made. When we arrived, it felt a bit awkward that some other guests were given a welcome drink and we were just sitting there hoping we got the same treatment ;-)... Not a big deal though. We were over it the moment we entered the resort!
