We had a very pleasant 9-day stay at the Mövenpick Bangtao. The rooms were beautifully furnished and very spacious, and our extended family of 6 enjoyed ourselves greatly. The breakfast buffet was superb, the pool was very enjoyable and the service we received, particularly from Mick and Sunma, was top-notch! Thank you Mövenpick for making this such a lovely holiday for us.

The room is spacious, clean, and the view is great! The hotel has a very good location, with Bang Tao Beach right outside the door. I like Bangtao Beach very much. There are not many people and the water is clean. It is more than half an hour's drive from the airport. The hotel service is good and very considerate. The shortcomings are that there is only one restaurant and the selection is limited. The second is that the water in the shower is hot and cold, which is very inconvenient. Fortunately, Thailand is hot and the water is cool, so you won’t catch a cold...

It's an older resort, the facilities are not too new but not run-down either, and the indoor swimming pool is large. In the off-season, there are few people and it is quiet, but the service is still good.
