Felt like I was reliving.some of the history of this iconic hotel. Upscale dining in the hotel restaurant. Lots of historical photos and artifacts to look at in the lobby and library room.. Amazing ceilings etc. Lux robes in the closet. Can host large wedding parties in the ballrooms etc.

We enjoyed the historical ambience and the beautiful holiday decor. The in-house reataurant and bar had a great menu.. Free valet service and a knowledgeable concierge were appreciated. All in all our stay was enjoyable compared to common hotel chains. It was an experience not just a place to sleep.

Our first room had a toilet clog, so we were moved to another room. That room also had issues with the toilet where it consistently leaked onto the floor and we had to put a water bottle underneath the tank to catch the water so it wouldn’t soak the floor like it was when we moved to that room.

Enjoyable stay at the Blennerhassett. Found the town was very walkable. Parking available. Not to impressed with some of the remodeling but seeing it through a contractor's eyes (my husband). Did not use the dining room or bar. We traveled down for a concert (Tim O'Brien) . The hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays!

Started with a spa "manager" (yeah, right) contacting me to ask if I'd like to reserve spa services. I listed those i wanted for all three of our family members. It took three days and me telling her to just give me a quote, by which time i was just irritated and told her to forget it. The hotel has great potential but only if they clean the place up and find some conscientious employees. Nothing was open at times they'd indicated, parking is in rear alley a block away, and the room was nothing great. Brunch is WAY overpriced and ok at best. We paid $300 for a dinner that consisted of a raw steak, rotten fish, alfredo that was little more milk, and roasted Brussel sprouts that weren't roasted but fried in months-old multipurpose oil. The charcuterie board was served with Club crackers! Tacky and digusting! Overall, I'm just thoroughly mad about time and money wasted on this place. It's a joke. Unless they do something major to this building and the staff, I'll go out of my way to discourage people from it. It's horrible across the board.

The staff here is excellent. Everyone I came into contact with was very helpful and freindly. It is one of those old world, high class hotels. The parking behind the hotel did not give the safest feeling, but you can park right at the front door for off loading/loading. The room was very nice with great bedding and comfortable, quiet climate control.

Disappointed. Stayed here several times in the past with husband and at conferences twenty years ago. The decor and service was much better then before it became a “boutique “ hotel. Yesterday’s front desk clerk was rude. Bellhop was fantastic. He should deal with the customers more. Carpet was very worn and looked dirty. Rooms were plain not the Victorian look they once had. Christening tree display throughout first floor was gorgeous.

Was very excited to stay here because of its history. Wanted to take the $5 hotel guided tour and they emailed me to say it wasn’t available but a $20 ghost and hotel tour was. Me and my guest took it and it was fine but $40 is a lot more than the $10 I was prepared for. Also filled out their questionnaire and asked if I could get a room with 2 beds and they quickly shot me down and told me to call *******. I just stayed with the king bed room. Was fine. Weird that the shower/toilet are separate from the sink. The biggest letdown was the breakfast buffet. I got $10 off each buffet and the bill for 2 was $60. I get better breakfast buffets in Los Angeles for $60. It was borderline inedible and gross. Everyone was so kind I didn’t want to complain but I was so shocked and really wish I would’ve complained and got a refund.
