I've been a regular guest of Mercure Paris Porte de Versailles Expo for the last 25 years. The hotel has undergone a substantial renovation lately, and is really up to standard now. The only thing they need is a proper espresso machine in the bar downstairs, replacing their Nespresso machine.

So I went to Mama Shelter last night for dinner to meet up with my friends who were staying at the hotel. There was a very friendly security guy from what I noticed. He didn't speak English and he referred me to the other guy at the reception. I would say as someone who's had a tone of travel experiences, the guy at the reception wasn't very welcoming. I don't know if I didn't look like their average guests because afterwards I noticed he was quite friendly to those who came after me. However I had a great time with my friends and shall definitely visit the place again. It's such a lovely quite place given that's it's within Paris. Hope the reception guy will be more friendly next time and my tuna salad won't be as salty. It was a great experience overall. I feel they could do better. Happy holidays.

We had a 4 day stay at this hotel, check in good, rooms adequate size for a couple. We ate in the restaurant one night, it was okay, but much better food options a 2 minute walk away from the hotel. Breakfast was really busy most mornings, and a complete free for all, food stations scattered around different parts of the room, there also didn’t seem to be enough staff on to cope. The main downside, was the hotel seemed hot, particularly in the rooms at night. We tried to change the air con on the first night, but that didn’t work. You can open the window, but the traffic noise throughout the night is non stop. We asked in the morning At reception , how to change the air con, and was told it was hotel policy not to have it on at this time of year. So it was a case of leaving the window wide open during the day when you weren’t there , then closing it at night so you could sleep due to the road noise. In hindsight, I wouldn’t stay there again if you have no control over what room temperature you can have.

The Hotel was beyond my expectations to be honnest. I came with a good friend for a weekend in Paris and had to choose a hotel near George Brassens. When i saw Hotel Clarisse i was immediably charmed. The hotel did not dissapoint. Its clean, cosy and the decoration is very uplifting. They have this perfume roaming the corridors which smelled divine. The room was a bit small but very clean which for me is more important. Beautiful tiled bathroom with just the right ammenadies. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. We didnt take breakfast cause found it a bit expense but thr coffee was yummy. All in all i think Hotel Clarisse is a great place to stay for a city trip. PS : The bed has 4 fluffy pillows, and soft warm sheets ! A BIG PLUS PLUS ! Thank you !

Stayed here for 3 nights, during June 2022. I was looking for a cheaper hotel, but with spacious rooms and bathrooms, which is very unlikely in Paris. But then I found this place, and it was just perfect. The rooms are good, with oven, and mini fridge as well. The bathroom is great, with a bathtub, and a separate walk in shower. Rooms are spacious, and theres two TV's. The living area is kind of a Flex room. Overall, I loved the place. Coming to the breakfast, I feel the spread could be better. The hotel overall is small, with pretty much nothing to to in the hotel itself. But location wise, its good, the metro and bus is very near. The area is safe too. There are many cafe's and restaurants nearby as well. At their normal price, it's a great hotel to stay at. The staff at the reception are particularly polite and welcoming. I forgot the name, but there was a Person of Color African-French, the girl was super helpful and assistive. But again, being a silver member, I am to get a complimentary welcome drink or water, but didn't receive any. Overall, my stay here was good. I recommend it in Paris, specially if more than 2 people.

When we arrived the reception staff were really helpful and friendly and we checked in with no issues. We immediatly went to the pool/spa area as we had booked the hotel for this reason. The pool area was very dirty and i dont just mean a few used towels on the floor, or a bit of dust, it was grimy, all around the edges of the pool was a build up of slimy scum. The changing area was not much better either. Also at the time of our visit the female hammam was broken so he ladies were using the one at the end of the male changing area which is not ideal as there are only one booth to change in and an open shower. We went back to our room and whilst trying to get to sleep we noticed that the duvet and pillows were duck feather and my wife is asthmatic so she had a severe asthma attack, I put these in the corridor outside the room. I went down to reception to ask if they had anything else. By this time the night porter was on duty and he was far more intersted in watching a film on his laptop than helping guests, i eventually managed to get a couple of clean duvet covers from him which we had to role up to use as a pillow and another to go over us. I reported this to the reception staff in the morning. One of the three lifts has been damaged and this is covered up bu a makeshift curtain. The terrace area outsode is nice and pretty and overlooks the pool through a skylight. Breakfast was good.
