We had a wonderful time: Sundowner with Moses (excellent) and Massages by Lime and her colleague Maria(?). We felt wonderfully relaxed 😌

We stayed a night at Otjiwa for our 10th wedding anniversary & we loved every minute of it. Staff was extremely nice & helpful! The room was well decorated, bathroom was massive & the bed comfy. We loved the direct view from our bedroom to the the waterhole where we spent hours watching game. Many species of mammals & birds are also present on the property which is lovely. The food was the big plus of this lodge. Everything was fresh & extremely well-cooked. We absolutely loved the breakfast & dinner. If we were to come back to Namibia we would stay at Otjiwa again without a doubt.

Welcoming by very friendly employees left a great first impression. Beautiful, clean surroundings, at the main building. Open plan, bright restaurant and bar, with adjacent porch to dine outside. Seemingly newly renovated rooms, spacious which are stylish and modern. Only downside ist the fact that the rooms are cramped up together, thus the disrespectful neighbours migth be annoying. Culinary perfection I'd say when it comes to the food. Fresh produce, delightful presentation and very tastefull round of the dining experience. Gamedrive The reason for a point deduction. We merely had a (safe) driver. There was no guiding as such, information flow non existing, purely driving in the bush, being shown the animals....picture...set...go. All and all a very great place to stay at, little pricy, though I'd say adequate.

Lodge is easily accessible on the road from Windhoek to the north. Chalets are spacious with a terrace overlooking the bush where springbok and gazelles roam. Equipped kitchen and barbecue area. Large pool with game visits in the evenings. Creative cuisine that doesn't always live up to its ambitious standards. Small souvenir shop with fair prices. Game drives with Rhino watching. A walk around the waterhole with ospreys, pelicans, warthogs, monkeys and many springboks is highly recommended. We spent three lovely days there.

We have been travelling the world for the last 15 years and have stayed in some incredible places. We both agreed that the Otjiwa Mountain Lodge is at the top our list. It really is that good. Our welcome from the owners was helpful, friendly and informative. The Lodge is ideally located a couple of hours north of Windhoek about 7km off the main B1 route. The main lodge is quite small but beautifully put together, it needs to be no bigger as it is only serving 4 or 5 individual suites. It provides for a reception, dining area, and very comfortable lounge. Many of the original hunting lodge features and furnishings have been upgraded and retained. From here there is access to a pool and sitting area. In the evening a fire basket is lit which is atmospheric but the smoke blew into the dining room, which was unpleasant to breathe and we and our clothes bear testament to it! It's so minor really. Our suite was wonderful. So much care and attention has gone into the development. We cannot fault it in any way. Luxurious, clean, contemporary and traditional at the same time, lovely bathroom, good wifi, a/c although it struggled to cope with 40c outside. All usual amenities. Overall we cannot praise the Lodge highly enough. Treat yourself and stay here! Nothing is too much trouble, staff and management working hard in the same direction. We loved it here.

We have been overloading for over 2500km across Namibia and have stayed at many campsites and lodges. We were overwhelmed at how reasonable the camping was and how nicely shaded our spot was with a sink and everything which has been quite uncommon to have at your campsite. The food was incredible and well priced. It was hands down the best we had at any other lodge we had been to. Our waiters were kind and attentive and we truly felt welcome. Keep up the incredible work. This place is a true gem.

We stayed over one night in the Camping Area on route to Etosha. Beautiful place with a lovely swimming pool. The camping sites are spacious with lots of shade, a braai and basin for washing up. Loved the bush showers with plenty of hot water and the Nyalas coming to visit our camp. Next time we will stay two nights.

Our family of 8 (5 adults, 3 children aged 9, 7, 5) had the most wonderful stay at Otjiwa Safari Lodge in January 2024. The facilities were just beautiful, with kudu freely wandering around the main swimming pool area and impala grazing at the kids playgrounds. We camped during our stay with immaculate shower and toilet facilities and an enormous braai area with our own prep/washing station. To top it off, we did a rhino trek one morning which was such a special experience. All the staff were extremely courteous and attentive - from the receptionists, to our guide, and the camp security - it was just such a wonderful stay and the perfect stopover from Etosha to Windhoek (or vice versa). We hope to be back again soon.
