Superb location, and located just above the Nankai Namba station, accessible to most rail lines from the underground. Rooms were considered big for a Japan hotel and service were excellent. Staff were highly professional, friendly and reliable. However, to note that if you wish to use the spa facilities (hot bath and sauna), you will need to get at least a Swiss Select room or higher (executive, suite etc). Otherwise, will need to pay 2200 yen per pax/day for use of the spa facilities. (Suggest for hotel to consider to put the information on their website). For breakfast, we were given an option to buy the breakfast at 20% discount, but will need to book 1 day in advance from hotel lobby. Truly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The hotel is right next to the Namba Parks Shopping mall. For those who opted to use the Nankai Rapid Train can reach the hotel within an hour from the KIX station, if the queue for buying the train tickets is not too long. From train station, it was simply a 5 to 10min max if with big luggage. Around 10 walk to the nearest Namba Metro Station, or 15 min if you choose to use the Hanshin train line for Kobe or Kintetsu line for Nara as the two train lines shared a common station. The room is spacious for Japanese standards but could be bigger in reality for two people to open both luggages at the same time. It’s good that they have designed the toilet area into three separate spaces, so each space can be utilise by a person at a time without crossing the other’s path. Overall, well recommended for everyone who wants to stay in Namba area, and the staff checking in and out for us was the same person with a super nice and welcoming attitude. Such a good memory to remember.

Although I was not staying at the W, the MIXup cafe is a fun spot in the middle of Osaka to have a tea or coffee and their amazing dessert(s). I was looking to try their seasonal dessert, the strawberry mille feuille, although it was already sold out when I arrived. This gives me another reason to return soon! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, I was swiftly shown to my table that I reserved ahead of time (thanks, Marriott Bonvoy), and was walked through the menu and how their orders work. Many teas to choose from, and the cake I chose was plated so beautifully. The chantilly cream with the berries - out of this world! The entire experience was smooth, and I was delighted with the level of service provided. In a way, this is ”normal” and expected for Japan, but I want to highlight that I really enjoyed this visit and look forward to going back.

On a business trip, alone. The hotel is very new, the room is also very new Non-smoking room, no smell of smoke at all. Cool Japanese business hotel, fully equipped. The single room is quite big. One of the reasons for the high quality and low price is that the room is not cleaned. Put the garbage and used towels outside the door in the morning, and they will give you new ones. I think it's nice and simple. For breakfast, there are four or five kinds of rice balls, two kinds of bread, three kinds of soup, vegetable juice, carrot juice, coffee, and tea with tea bags to make by yourself. I feel great. Came here twice first as part of a group tour and second by ourselves.... the hotel is bright and airy, the rooms light and beds extremely comfortable. the rims have individual split system cool/heat which is much appreciated for those such as myself who enjoy a cooler room. mini bar & air purifier were also well used. the room configuration for us was a little odd and not practical as friends sharing.... the toilet is a separate room (with the door so close to the toilet you have to shimmy round to close) the door.. moreso the sink is in the actual room. I don't like coming out of the toilet to wash my hands and disturbing my friend. also having the bath/shower arrangement with no where to stay really dry unless you come out of the shower (again not practical when sharing as friends) .... however the products provided were excellent and the water pressure also good. a kettle was provided and limited tea/filter coffee provided. Next door to the hotel is a massive supermarket that you can get pretty much anything you want!! However the TV did not have 1 english speaking channel (for a hotel that caters for international visitors this did surprise me, as i've traveled all over the world and there's always 1 - usually news) the window coverings whilst look nice (wooden venetian blinds ) they are not blockout and as such the room gets light before 6 am! As our flight leaves late in the evening we wanted to have a late checkout - the hotel does offer extended check out at a price, however because we were leaving on a Saturday we paid for another night. the bar prices are reasonable (approx $8 AU for a well poured glass of bubbles!) and we had wood fired pizza in the restaurant that was $24 AU each. Breakfast was simple but tasty. (avoid opening time if you can it's a free for all) going down about 8 was quiet lots of seating. Of note the bacon, muesli and yoghurt were all great. lots of asian options

Friendly staff. We had our daily breakfast at the hotel. There was a good variety of different cuisines. Hlad that we had purchased this with our package. Excellent location for us... bascially we were out to different tourist attractions during the day, then returned to Nambo area late in the evening, there was an undergroud walkway with many resturants, *****tores and a big supermarket (which can do immediate tax refund). Highly recommend this hotel . Btw, we took the airport shuttle bus which was directly located beside this hotel. There is a specail passage which goes directly from the hotel to the nambo OCT .

先週末、スポーツの試合で怪我をして緊急外来が見つからず、もう寝たいが一心で当日予約でお世話になりました。チェックインをご担当された夜勤のフロントの方、バックにおられたマネージャーさんに怪我のことを話して、部屋で休んでいました。 夜中に痛みに耐えられなくて、タクシーで緊急外来病院へ行きました。病院へ行く際、ホテルへ戻ってきた際は、フロントにはスタッフさんが不在でした。 翌朝チェックアウトの際に朝のフロントの女性スタッフさん（2名）が私の状態を伺ってくださり、夜中に自分で緊急外来にかかったことなどを伝えました。雨が降っており、重たいボストンバッグを持っていたので、フロントのスタッフさんがタクシーを手配して下さり、タクシーまでボストンバッグを運んで下さいました。 皆様のご親切にただ感激しております。本当にありがとうございました。 I got injured while playing a team sport over the weekend and we struggled with finding an emergency hospital. Then I wanted to rest on a bed, so walking into the hotel and got a room. I told the night shift receptionist and duty manager what had happened, and went to the room to rest. But over the night, pains hit me hard and I couldn’t stand any more so went to an emergency hospital on my own. When leaving the hotel or coming back, reception staff members were in the back office. The following morning, when checking out, two young receptionists who were in a morning shift asked me how I was feeling. I told them that I had been to the emergency hospital over night and other circumstances. It was raining at the time and I had a big Boston bag, so one of them organised a taxi. And she carried the bag to the taxi. I am really pleased to your staff members’ kindness and great services. Thank you very much for wonderful and professional attitudes!
