Meitetsu Inn Shinosakaeki Higashiguchi

Shin-Osaka/Esaka/Juso
The hotel is not far from Shin-Osaka Station. It is easier to get there by using Google Maps. There is a connected mini convenience store downstairs of the hotel for convenient restocking of supplies and food. There is a self-service daily necessities area next to the hotel elevator, where travelers can pick up what they need (face wash, makeup remover, toner, facial cream, etc.), which is very convenient and considerate. The room is so small that there is no space to open the suitcase (points deducted). The cleanliness is good.

New hotel, 3 minutes walk from the straight elevator at the East Exit of Shin-Osaka Station. There are many convenience stores and restaurants around, and there are also in the station. There is no one at the front desk, self check-in is required. Mid-week prices are affordable, and prices increase on weekends. Sound insulation is acceptable.

Apartment was very clean, pretty comfortable, just note the loft bed is quite small for two adults, and if you have heat on it gets VERY warm upstairs (heat rises and all that). I ended up sleeping separate from husband on downstairs fold out. Also pictures and description is misleading, the kitchen is actually a separate space off main hallway and shared with another unit, not really a big deal, we were not in there much and didn't see anyone else. Yes kitchen stays unlocked as does the front hallway door but everything is super safe, apartment itself where you sleep locks. Shared washing machine too (does not dry), this was our halfway point so we did laundry, laundromat closeby for drying. We knew location would be far from the main hub of Osaka, what we didn't know is the subway stops at midnight so just keep that in mind if going to Dotonbori at night. Kita ward was pretty close via train and we kinda preferred it anyway for evenings, SUCH good food, great little bars.

The rooms are very clean, well equipped, washing machine is also available, big balcony, from the balcony to see the scenery, feel the daily life of the Japanese. Very close to the subway, this subway can go directly to Umeda, Kyoto’s Kayuan, and it is convenient to go to many attractions. There are staff members who can speak Chinese, so it is very convenient to contact if you have any questions. High performance-price ratio, come again next time.

It is adjacent to the road and light rail, especially the sound of motorcycles outside, which is quite noisy. The sound insulation effect is not very good, someone talking in the corridor can be heard clearly. There is also a mirror on the side of the bed, the layout is very uncomfortable. There is only one elevator, and the waiting time for the elevator is quite long. In terms of location, it's not too far from the subway station. It takes 7-8 minutes to walk to the nearest convenience store. The service attitude is very good.

For two peak people, it is good. But it is a long walk from the station. Lovely owner For check-in, it is near five o'clock. There will be an email at the door to contact. It takes less than 5 minutes to get the code for check-in.
