They were the best days of my Namibia vacation!! the staff was super friendly and accommodating. (There was even a birthday cake and a beautifully sung song🎂) We were lucky and experienced a lot of rain. Simply unique (photo attached) the location of the lodge is simply a dream My personal highlight was that kudus, zebras and giraffes can run freely in the lodge.(photos attached (from the pool, room *perspective*) In summary, it was a very nice stay and can only be recommended

We were only here one night. What we, after an informal survey of our group of eight, is: - Cabins were nice and AC worked well - Incredibly close to Andersson Gate at Etosha - Well suited for parties of 8, like ours - Very nice swimming pools - The most authentic singers who were hotel employees who sang a cappella with a drummer and really were harmonic and wonderful. This was on our way into the park and would definitely recommend.

We could not find the lodge with appropriate pricing for the night of our planned stay around Etosha, and booked the campsite in Etosha Village, which was a good opportunity to explore the features of our NAVI motorhome vehicle. The camp shack was clean even though very basic. But everything was properly working, and satisfied our needs for a night. The dinner and breakfast in the main Lodge were very good, and the campsite is located in the walking distance, so visitors do not need to drive between the lodge and campsite once their vehicles are parked. The staff in the lodge are super-friendly and accommodating!

Taleni Etosha Village Campsite Nice campsite with separate ablution area. Hot and cold water. Prep sink is located on the side of the structure. Comes with a covered area for table and chairs. Braai is provided. Plugs are available in case you need to plug anything in. Wood is N$45. At reception, there is a restaurant and bar. Our vehicle had a broken ladder which they helped us fix quickly. Very nice maintenance crew. Kudu, zebra and Guinea fowl wander around the sites. Recommended

I can not really understand the good reviews that are posted here. My only explanation of that is that that’s maybe from years ago. The whole Lodge is not maintained well: starting from the restrooms in the public area (dirty, no paper, no soap) , reaching to the pool ( dirty water , dirty covers, broken umbrellas) and the rooms (extremely noisy A/C , fan mounted wrongly). About the noisy A/C we were offered to move to another bungalow where the A/C did the same noise but the fridge was noisy, too. We didn’t move. The cabins interior as well as the public areas are designed without heart and passion which is carried out by almost everybody from the staff: no attention at the reception or the booking desk for the tours, no knowledge about the surroundings by the staff, no knowledge about the park (opening hours , open roads eg) - so sad! The only good thing: it’s very close to the entrance.

Accommodation to an excellent standard, with fresh aircon in very clean rooms. Comfortable bedding, spacious bathrooms, and well-maintained facilities. Catering is a particular highlight, with fantastic braai dinners and ample vegetarian options. Well-stocked bar and nice pool area. The game drive to the main park was excellent value, with a very accomplished driver. Anderson Gate is only 2km away! Overall, as best I can tell from having seen the poor state of the official camps in the park, this is the best way to do Etosha! On the (few) drawbacks, the common area furniture is a bit worn at this point, and more toiletries/soap could be available in the rooms. Service is polite, but not particularly warm - with a few exceptions. Given the value for money, though, I think this is all fine. Finally, I caveat that we were here in the slower, rainy season. I expect this resort would feel differently if full.

The room was large and the beds were comfy. When I arrived, the AC was on in the room which was amazing since it was really hot outside. The food was ok. The staff was great! I had a flat tire and they helped me change the tire!! Really great staff!

My rating lies somewhere between 3 & 4. It was definitely not very good but I would say better than average becuase of the room. The concept is that of a village with the services in the middle surrounded by cabins. It is large - 50 cabins - so you drive to your cabin. I liked our cabin which was spacious and simply but stylishly decorated. It had a large bathroom and shower. We did the sundowner which was very close to the lodge but on an elevated platform with a great view so we enjoyed this. The buffet included a wide selection of meat such a springbok but overall not a fan of buffets and quality from starter to desert was average. There is a small pool - and two mini pools but limited seats and shade. Service was not unfriendly but also not very warm.

Rooms modern will all comforts. Fridge wit no water! Aircon and fan, dinner was a buffet and I love it, it was perfect. Please try the Eland wit pap and Sheba. It was yummy. Staff are friendly but not so attentive. Breakfast was n let down. Not a lot of options. And had to ask for extra juice. Swimming poop was stunning and the gardens well kept
