We really enjoyed this old fashioned hotel. The staff from reception to house keeping are polite and very friendly and efficient to make sure the stay was good. The pool and spa are excellent. Two small niggles with our suite. 1) When children are expected is it sensible to put condoms in the draw? 2) an open display of various chocolates in a “kids mini bar” is not to helpful to parents. Lastly and the reason why we do not give five stars. Every morning in the breakfast room the male staff were walking around and actively preparing food with their Covid masks either below their noses or less. This even by the welcoming breakfast manager. We complained on the first day but nothing changed. When all the house keeping and other staff scrupulously water the masks correctly at all times this open display of customer disregard was a blemish for us and also others we spoke to. We will certainly stay here again and hope that a restaurant manager is appointed that enforces the hotel rules.

I would like to take a few minutes to say Thank You to the staff of the California Hotel in Odessa, Ukraine!! I was met at the door with a warm greeting and then at the desk the receptionist was so sweet. She was patient with my questions and very kind in her answers. Check in was very fast!! and my room was perfect! Clean, neat and in very new condition. House keeping does a very thorough job cleaning. The staff is very good with advice about the city, and can give advice and instruction as to where to go and see the Best attractions. Victoria was so very nice to me, personally asking if everything was alright with my room and check-in. Her Smiling face will forever be etched into my mind. My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Duke Hotel and we absolutely loved it! Their customer service was above and beyond any other place we visited in Ukraine. This was our favorite part of our stay and the reason why we would recommend this hotel to any person who visits Odessa and wants to be right in the center of the city center. The hotel structure and decor in itself is very well maintained as well. You would never think you are staying in 100 year old hotel due to the fact their upkeep is impeccable. Their breakfast buffet was delicious, every morning changing up the buffet side dishes as well as offering other additional options from a menu, all included in the price for the hotel. We used the sauna and pool one time and it was also a very pleasant experience. It was a great experience.

Stayed with my little one for two days in standard room.I have nothing but good things to say starting from service,ending the location of the hotel.The resort has everything you need and even more for great time spending.Wonderful spa with several pools, baths and different types of saunas is included to room price as well as amazing buffet- style breakfast.The selection of food is unbelievable.They even serve champagne and mussels for breakfast :D There is a cinema room where they show cartoons and movies every night, the kid's zone with baby sitters is excellent for parents who want to have some time for themselves.While by the pool you can see the dolphins being trained through the glass wall.For extra price you can have swimming session with dolphins,photos,etc.I'm totally in love with this place and will definitely come back! BTW the place is functioning on high powered generators,so no worries about electric outages- there they have electricity and wifi 24/7 👌

In principle, I spent a good weekend after the trip. But 250 euros in 2 days in October - that mach for this level. - The rooms are cute, clean, light. The view of ”on the garden” - traditionally on the construction. From the design it is not worth waiting much, noticeably below the level of the same Hilton. Although definitely cozy. - Delicious breakfasts. It is definitely not worth taking with you when you leave lunch-box, it is just bosian. The restaurant's kitchen during the day on the amateur of the author's feed and vision of the recipe with a sub-cover. For guys it is easier, like me, more in the like of the neighboring sea restaurant Terrace. - Beautiful lobby with sea view. Direct respect. - The sea itself in October was not interested, but it is definitely not for beach recreation option. Drop from a stone parapet on the stairs into dirty water. In the heat there you can touch intellectually. And the pool is tiny. - Staff - polite pleasant youth, work, are trying, nice to look. - The location is beautiful for walking around the city. Without a taxi you can walk easily to all the central attractions of mines for 15. Output - for less money I would stay happy. The current price for order is overstated.

When I wanted to check in -I was told that the booking was cancelled and I was shocked at hearing that as I did not cancel the booking. I have looked at my bank account and did not see any refunds when the booking is cancelled. When I asked them who cancelled my booking-there was no answer and after making many called to the booking company it became clear that my booking is not cancelled but this was 30-40 minutes later and I had to wait with my suitcases in the lobby. This experience was not good-pretty unnerving.

We have been coming here on family vacation 4 summers since 2017. The hotel is extremely well executed regarding amenities, design, services and cleanliness. A true luxury hotel. The pool area is awesome. Very calm and relaxing, even when the hotel is full. Staff and service is very friendly, and the restaurant is open 24/7. We definitely recommend booking one of the superior rooms or above, with balcony over the pool area and a stunning view towards the Black Sea. The beach is about 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel, but the beach is imo not very nice (overcrowded and not very clean water), so we usually stay at the pool. The weather in July is usually blue sky and 31-32 degrees Celsius. The hotel owns a nice tennis arena 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel, with 6 clay courts. You can book a court and even a coach (Andrej was an awesome coach for our 8-year-old daughter) from the hotel reception. The breakfast is very good, with a nice buffet as well as a hot menu which you can order from free of charge. All in all, it is hard to find anything negative about Panorama De Luxe. If anything, the drinks and food could be improved slightly. Don`t get me wrong, it`s not bad at all, but it has room for improvements. For example, medium cooked steak is usually served well done minus. We have no problem recommending staying at Panorama De Luxe, which we have done for the past 4 summers. Both the kids and adults will have a great time in a true luxury environment!

The Frapolli isn't a great hotel but it's pretty good and for the price it is an excellent value. The hotel was clean, inexpensive, and service personnel were extremely nice and willing to help. I stayed in one of the suites, I think the nicest one, and it was fine. It was large, with a balcony overlooking Deribasovskaya street. Even though it was winter it was fun sitting on the balcony and people watching. The negatives about the room were that furniture was somewhat sp**** and seemingly chosen at random. The bed covering was approaching threadbare status. That said, I would stay again. While not luxurious, the room was clean, the people were nice, and the location of the hotel is ideal. Breakfast and the lobby bar were both enjoyable.

Absolutely terrible experience. Incompetent worker charged me WAY more than it should have to, the check I received didn't make ANY logical sense whatsoever, to say the least, as he made the bill up randomly and nonchalantly by calculating things in a way that was utterly unfavorable for me as a client, including charging me for things I didn't order or manipulate the order in a way that doubles the price of every ingredient. To add insult to injury, and to his unprofessional behavior, his individual person-to-person attitude was reprehensibly rude, unpleasant, and inappropriate. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, he wasted 15 minutes of my time, only to come up with another bill that is MORE expensive!!!! How ridicilous is that? Lying deceitfully and acting arrogantly, this worker is responsible for me never visit again at Frapoli, not with this attitude. Lastly, I would like to emphasize its inability to control his emotions when client tells him the truth, and his unwillingness to bear responsibility for his mistakes, among his inappropriate behaviors I would mention facial expressions exhibiting neglicence and carelessness, rude and impolite tonality, aggressiveness towards clients, playing psycholgical warfare with your mind and let you wait only to give you more a expensive bill. This behavior is unacceptable, and was instantaneously reported to the manager. I hope some justice will be brought and someone will put this worker in its place. Disguating behavior, really. Luckily, his manager was more polite, logical and professional, and provided me with a proper bill after much sweat blood and tears, so to say, of unnecessary negotiation

Say something good, breakfast is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, the number is not so much, but very good; the service staff is great, the price in Ukraine is very low, so coffee and other snacks are very cheap. The location is downtown, very convenient, the nearby restaurants are delicious and the price is much cheaper than domestic. But be careful of the people who took pictures of you nearby, first give you a low price, then take a lot of pictures, but at that price, you disagree, and a few big men came in a blink of an eye.

The hotel is located in the very center of Deribasovskaya Street. We stayed in an improved two-class room without a balcony. The season is probably noisy here - as the window comes out to the most ”moving” street :) but in the fall and in the quarantine in the evening, the noise if there is any - it is not too late and it is practically uninterrupted. All necessary in pedestrian access. Elevator is not available. Parking is provided at a shopping mall 100m from the hotel. $150 per day (this with a discount for staying with Deribase). Staff is very welcome. There were problems (breaking the door of the shower, breaking the toilet) - all nuances and inconveniences were quickly eliminated. There is a chat with the administration in all messengers - very convenient! About the room (404): - small - comfortable bed and pillows - cozy - 2 yards - perfect when someone wants, for example, to work - and someone to rest - a big window (can look at Deribasovskaya) - sofa - minibar (humble) - The teapot and the tp is not - the cooler with water and the tug with the board on the floor - a small bathroom, not a new plumbing - there is a vent - cleaning every day, but in the bathroom there were hair. It is clear not ours) - it is visible that the number is already a little ”small” (stick on the carpet, paint on the ladder handkerchiefs, etc.), but still cozy - sufficient size of the closet, enough hangers, Breakfast compartment 4 options are available. But be careful of the people who took pictures of you nearby, first give you a low price, then take a lot of pictures, but at that price, you disagree, and a few big men came in a blink of an eye.

When I wanted to check in -I was told that the booking was cancelled and I was shocked at hearing that as I did not cancel the booking. I have looked at my bank account and did not see any refunds when the booking is cancelled. When I asked them who cancelled my booking-there was no answer and after making many called to the booking company it became clear that my booking is not cancelled but this was 30-40 minutes later and I had to wait with my suitcases in the lobby. This experience was not good-pretty unnerving.

Absolutely terrible experience. Incompetent worker charged me WAY more than it should have to, the check I received didn't make ANY logical sense whatsoever, to say the least, as he made the bill up randomly and nonchalantly by calculating things in a way that was utterly unfavorable for me as a client, including charging me for things I didn't order or manipulate the order in a way that doubles the price of every ingredient. To add insult to injury, and to his unprofessional behavior, his individual person-to-person attitude was reprehensibly rude, unpleasant, and inappropriate. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, he wasted 15 minutes of my time, only to come up with another bill that is MORE expensive!!!! How ridicilous is that? Lying deceitfully and acting arrogantly, this worker is responsible for me never visit again at Frapoli, not with this attitude. Lastly, I would like to emphasize its inability to control his emotions when client tells him the truth, and his unwillingness to bear responsibility for his mistakes, among his inappropriate behaviors I would mention facial expressions exhibiting neglicence and carelessness, rude and impolite tonality, aggressiveness towards clients, playing psycholgical warfare with your mind and let you wait only to give you more a expensive bill. This behavior is unacceptable, and was instantaneously reported to the manager. I hope some justice will be brought and someone will put this worker in its place. Disguating behavior, really. Luckily, his manager was more polite, logical and professional, and provided me with a proper bill after much sweat blood and tears, so to say, of unnecessary negotiation

Worth going to if you’re on a budget. Sheets had some staining & the space was incredibly tight to walk around. Big walk around behind a marketplace. Imagine that after a 17 hour flight + commute time. Staff was lovely. But it could be a bit cleaner and the location is somewhat convenient. Especially that it’s near food to buy and the metro. You just have to walk a bit and get through the market place & alleyway.

We really enjoyed this old fashioned hotel. The staff from reception to house keeping are polite and very friendly and efficient to make sure the stay was good. The pool and spa are excellent. Two small niggles with our suite. 1) When children are expected is it sensible to put condoms in the draw? 2) an open display of various chocolates in a “kids mini bar” is not to helpful to parents. Lastly and the reason why we do not give five stars. Every morning in the breakfast room the male staff were walking around and actively preparing food with their Covid masks either below their noses or less. This even by the welcoming breakfast manager. We complained on the first day but nothing changed. When all the house keeping and other staff scrupulously water the masks correctly at all times this open display of customer disregard was a blemish for us and also others we spoke to. We will certainly stay here again and hope that a restaurant manager is appointed that enforces the hotel rules.

Our recent stay at Maristella was nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was nicely appointed and the facilities were clean and modern. The view was spectacular! A few things not making the grade were: the lift was not functioning - very disappointing as my wife and I have serious knee problems. The A/C was not functioning correctly - it worked but did not cool the room. I think the refrigerator was installed incorrectly - maybe the door was not working properly. Some of this may have been due to the ongoing renovations. For American guests maybe a warning....we had a difficult time with our bank cards. We brought 5 different ones but none worked so we had to go into town to get a lot of cash to pay our bill. The staff was very generous and nice and patient with us though! We would definitely come back if the lift is in proper working condition.
