New Plymouth Hostels

Such a gorgeous hotel. Beautifully renovated and very comfortable. We had a room with a balcony and sea view. Very spacious. Leather chairs and desk area. Felt like a princess with the bed and pillows luxurious. The bath was amazing after a long trip. All super clean and staff wonderful. Definitely the place to stay in New Plymouth.

We have been staying at Quest whenever we find one in the town or city we're travelling to. Quest never disappoints and this time was certainly not an exception. The place is very well located, right in the heart of town. just across the street from NP shopping centre, The museum, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and even the big box retail stores and supermarkets. We booked one-bedroom apartment for a 6-night stay. The apartment is spacious with many amenities in the kitchenet to prepare and cook food, A washer and dryer pair in the bathroom; in fact, the only not-so up to standards is the limited TV channels although the range and diversity of films offered kind of make up for it. We would certainly be returning when in NP again.

Decided to stay at the Millennium as we are fans of the restaurant Salt. Room was pretty standard there was a glitch with the TV which we would not normally worry about but it was the Super Rugby final, we were moved to another room, satisfactory conclusion. They advertise on site parking but once I booked found out it was limited on a first come basis. There is quite a bit of parking so you would be unlucky to miss out there is plenty of parking around the motel free after 5pm. Would stay again

Basically it is a luxury type, the room is very large, the geographical environment is good, a few minutes to go to the supermarket, Tianhao directly see the Taranaki Mountain. Pushing open the window is the internal pool, and the bar is extremely rich. The typical kiwi of the old lady at the front desk was warm and friendly, and the next day check-out also gave free luggage storage.

This hotel is in a good location, just 10 minutes to the town countdown and 20 minutes walk to the beach. The hotel facilities are relatively simple, the front desk said that my original order was not found, and said that the cancellation, but fortunately I printed the order, or it would be troublesome, and finally found it!

We recently stayed here for a weekend away. From the moment that we booked, the service was exceptional. A personalised email shortly following our booking set the tone, where nothing is a problem for the staff at this hotel. They were so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our weekend in their beautiful city. The facilities are modern and sparkly clean, with the beds among the most comfortable that I have experienced in a hotel. The central location is fantastic, we walked everywhere and didn’t hop in the car again until we left. The free onsite car parking is the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back!

Large room, very clean and well equipped, air con, fridge, microwave, well situated in the town and easy parking. Pleasant staff, would go again. Only drawback was no milk for drinks but we didn't really need it! Difficult to find a nice bar but eventually found Good Home with rooftop bar!
