We winter in Texas and stay at this hotel going down and coming back. We only stay in nice clean hotels that have good restaurant accessibility

The pool “heater” was out and was probably 55° and so we couldn’t swim but the one night. Guy at the front desk was very nice but had very messy attire on. His shirt had burn holes from cigarettes, everyone always seemed to take smoke breaks which lingered into the hotel, there were also kids running around the pool area and then going into the workout room soaking wet messing with the equipment and their parents weren’t even paying attention. The staff member mentioned above was standing there not doing anything about it either. The hot tub was disgustingly dirty. You could see stuff floating around in it and there were no towels to dry off with there either. The cleaning lady that was of much older age was an absolute sweetheart. She took care of any and everything we needed and spoke very kindly. She definitely deserves a raise and a promotion. The stay overall I’d give like a 3.1/5 not the worst hotel I’ve been in but not the best for the money I’ve spent.

The attendant at the front desk acted as though he was doing you a favor to check you in. There was no hot water for tea. There are no longer complimentary upgrades or welcome bags for rewards members. Things have changed (for the worse) since Choice Hotels acquired Raddison.

We always stay at this hotel during a twice/year trip. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and pet friendly.

We stayed a night because we are moving to a town close. The bathroom floor was disgusting and it looked like there was urine in the grout on the floor. It smelled. Rust on the ceiling. The carpet was filthy. The paint was peeling off the doors and walls and it was overall distgusting. The bath faucet leaks. i will never stay there again and i will.make sure the friends i have visit dont stay there.

Overall it's a decent hotel. The king bed suite had a comfortable bed but felt a bit dated. The smoke detectors flash light so this did make it difficult to fall asleep. Looks like a previous occupant put a bandaid over the light to try and block the light but it didn't help. Breakfast and staff were nice!
