Great hotel, with a strong sense of history, and the front desk is very patient and enthusiastic. The room is small but exquisite, and the bedding and pillows are comfortable. The hotel is located near the Little Mermaid statue, and it is a bit noisy at night near the street.

The 2 bedroom apartment was wonderful! Very spacious and luxurious, beautifully fitted. We also loved the common guest balcony as well, perfect spot to sit for a drink.

Our room was quite small . Had a very small bar fridge , and area where you could make yourself tea or coffee . With one pkg of cookies (2 cookies to share) which I thought was a little cheap considering the price of the room . Bed was comfortable . Room was nicely decorated . The bathroom had a very small tub and small toilet . I think the worst part was that our room was next to the housekeepers management room so there was a noisy meeting at Around 8am that woke us up and then phone calls we could hear . Maybe other rooms are better? Pay more for a bigger room ?So make sure you don’t get room 152 .

Loved the motel, bar and both restaurants. Food was delicious however as a guest we sat in the quiet area behind the bar playing cards and was bombarded by loud music from the kitchen area.
We were then asked to leave the area as bar was closing but there was nowhere in the motel section that guests could sit together. We were effectively sent to bed.

Fabulous and historic old property has has been beautifully restored.
Walk out balcony to a communal balcony overlooking the beach.
Great spot to enjoy a drink.
Art deco architecture everywhere you look.

Hotel in great position. Rooms were comfortable and well maintained and equipped. My only frustration was that the Rose bar and restaurant was not serving a full menu the evening we stayed and we were not informed until we went to the restaurant - as my daughter requires a gluten free diet and the were many choices for her on the full menu, we ate at the other restaurant in the hotel but it had very limited choice and no dessert options at all - except yogurt, so she was very disappointed.

Great old hotel with informative staff and felt very secure.
Only slight negative was the shower over the bath with quite a high step down, a little difficult having not long had a knee replacement.
