Aerotel Muscat - Airport Transit Hotel

When I came after midnight (it was already Monday 27.03.2023) there were 3 men at the reception. All kind and helpful. One kindly accompanied me to the room. I'd assume he was a trainee. There was some noise at night that woke me up at night. Not sure where it was coming from, but probably from the corridor. I'd expect 4* hotel to be kind of sound proof like other hotels of that range are. When I was checking out at 7 AM the same day, I politely left the key card at the reception and greeted the receptionist, but he didn't seem to be interested in my presence. There was a grumpy and brusque receptionist at that time (short, well-groomed man). Such people shouldn't work in hospitality! In addition, when I was leaving the reception, he sighed deeply and out loud.. Such a frustrated person.. Breakfast was below the average for 4* hotels.
Muscat Gate Hotel

The hotel was staying at the time of the transfer in Oman at 17 hours. Taxi economy to the airport through the app costs 2.2 real. There are no normal shops nearby, but there is a refuelling station and there is a small shop in which there are even a diapers(pampers), if suddenly you are with kids and you have finished a diaper, like we have)))) Breakfast is excellent, there is everything, to feed yourself and the children 👍🏽 Beds are clean, and this is the most important. Staff is friendly, good. The only coyote was, it was when we arrived, there was no baby bed (which we booked in advance, having checked out with the hotel and we confirmed it). And we arrived at two o'clock in the night. It is not very nice to go there and go over the night and settle these things. Bring it all quickly, of course, but a cock, you will agree.
Ramee Guestline Hotel

The hotel is 7 or 8 minutes walk from Qurum Beach, convenient to see the sea view, but there is no large business super nearby, restaurant. I am a girl, traveling alone, and the stay experience at this hotel is very poor. First of all, the taxi at the entrance of the hotel is the hotel's internal car team. The slaughter of passengers is serious and unreasonable. I took it once. The original fare of 5 rias was charged 10 rias. Finally, I took a more detour. When getting off the bus, the Arab driver shouted at me for 2 more riya, quite rude. When I left, I had to take a taxi to the airport and stopped a taxi at the door, but the uncle of the hotel taxi team called the other taxis and forced my luggage to his own trunk, not saying that they had to take the same price. I was angry, but they were unreasonable, and they argued with each other. I called the manager of the hotel, and the manager looked at it and then stood by! Secondly, during my stay, I was knocked on the door by a local drunk man in the next room. I later learned that this hotel has a bar, and the local wind is not good. I did see some local young ladies in and out of the evening dressed in cool clothes. . . The above wrote his own experience, hope to provide reference for the countrymen.
Muscat Plaza Hotel

We stayed in triple room for a night here. 6 was well-sized for us, but there was literally no view. The window opened to the wall of the nearby building. There were also no slippers for the bathroom. We had to call twice and wait for nearly an hour for them to be delivered. The beds were comfy, and we had a nice night's sleep. The bathroom and the room were overall clean and well maintained. The breakfast was decent for this hotel. There were good options to cater everyone's needs. However, what happened in the breakfast room was totally indecent and inhumane. An Omani, who seemed to be the owner or manager of the hotel, physically attacked an employee and shouted bitter words at him, threatening him with his words . The employee was gentle enough not to react, but the Omani's attitude, shouting, and bad words ruined everybody's breakfast in the room.
Al Maha Int Hotel Oman

Price is ok Only basic items, such as body washes and toothbrushes, were not included but will be delivered upon request. The soundproofing was not bad and there are many people staying at low prices for a long time. For meals, it was 3omr (in my case I went to the restaurant separately in the morning) and it was good for vegetarians or small eaters. At that time, it is said that there is a change in the menu.
Al Falaj Hotel
4/551 Reviews
Al falaj hotel offers the best and most affordable swimming classes in muscat. Coach Chamith has trained me in less than 7 days where in i had taken a 10 days swimming class package. I have fought my fear of water and is able to swim in deep water as well with confidence. Chamith sir taught me free style, back stroke, relaxed style, floating and deep water swimming in less than 10 classes and I am extremely happy and more than satisfied with my experience there. Must try for anyone who would like to fight their fears and learn swimming at any age group. They have separate sessions for adults and kids.
