I honestly feel like some of the reviews of this place are quite harsh. I booked this hotel on a whim with a friend after randomly deciding to go away and this place was in our price range and the pictures advertised made it look amazing. Just like any place, the pictures always make a place look better than what it is. However, my room was clean, up to standard and had everything we needed, toilet facilities were good though the air con in the room could have been better but still was okay. The people at the hotel were absolutely amazing and couldn’t praise them enough. They were friendly, funny, helpful and would do anything for you. The all inclusive drinks included the some alcohol but not a big list, think it was 4 different spirits, beer, wine and a few fizzy drinks and juice. No sugar free drinks available at the bar but you could buy from the shop they have on site which was a reasonable price in my opinion as some people have critiqued the price. Anything that would be imported like Pringles, bags of haribo would be slightly more money than their crisps but that’s what it is like when you try and buy American products in the UK. The food was good, always something I could eat and for fussy eaters there is ALWAYS freshly made pizza and chips every lunch and dinner time. I did have slight bowel problems but nothing that effected my holiday, it was just simply due to eating so much, drinking alcohol everyday, fizzy drinks everyday and a different style of cooking. So I do not think it was poorly cooked food at all as all staff eat the same and they are fine. People complained about the slides only being on between certain times but with the pool not being massive, I think it’s good as it allows people to play games in the pool, swim and just relax and not be splashed by people coming down the slides and then there’s time for people who want to go down the slide and have a laugh. There was always sun beds available no matter what time we came down, whether it was 10am or 1pm. We could always find one. The beach is literally on the hotels front door and you need to take advantage of this. The water is a nice blue and the sand soft and with the weather you could spend all day there. They have things like banana boats, paragliding (think that’s what it is) and camel rides all available there too. I really think some of these reviews are quite harsh. Yes the hallway carpet could of probably done with more hoovering but it wasn’t that bad. I only went for 5 days and I honestly had no issues. Would I go again? Probably, yes. My room was clean and I had a great time. If you’re considering this hotel then I say go for it. The people are lovely and you will enjoy yourself.

Can I start by saying, those who have left a negative review, clearly spent their entire stay picking the place apart. I stayed with a friend for 5 days and it was like a retreat. The drinks are limited but they are delicious. The wine is fabulous and always iced. Fizzy drinks are from bottles but I preferred this as it was always fresh and fizzy. The chefs are outstanding. Food is delicious, varied and always catering for all. Pizza everyday to suit smaller guests but a taste of tunisian cuisine is available throughout the day. Breakfast is fabulous with eggs available everyday with 2 of my days being shakshuka 😍 If you're going for a lay in - no worries! They have late breakfast till at least 11 If the 3 meals aren't enough, you can indulge in freshly prepared crepes on their own cart at 3pm The staff are simply fantastic. Even though our visit was at the end of the season, they worked so hard for everyone and made our stay fantastic 😍 We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

The staff are the heart of this hotel Jalil the manager goes above and beyond and is amazing. The animation team are out of this world especially Mario and Rico. All the restaurant and office staff are friendly and happy to help you no problem. The food is a little repetitive and the all inclusive drinks are local and limited but was enough for us. The maids work so hard and leave beautiful hearts on your bed. The hotel is on the beach front but be prepared to travel to see sights or take trips out as its a little distance from restaurants and shops. The rooms are a decent size and view from the room are stunning. We fly home tomorrow and we will miss all the staff.

AVOID THIS HOTEL!! Where do I start?? Paid for a 3 star I would be generous giving it a 1 star!! Food was terrible never hot LUKEWARM at best very limited choices for breakfast the only bread available was a stale French stick no toaster, one day you could have eggs the next it would be pancakes, never both together! once you flicked the flies from the cheese and salad ( all uncovered) you had a cheese salad cob ( my breakfast for 11 days ) my husband decided on eggs one day he cut into it snot run out he ended up with bread and cheese as no pancakes on egg day!! The tables and floor was filthy in the dining room I never saw it cleaned unless you count flicking the crumbs on the floor? ( most truck stops are cleaner) Lunch consisted of bits of meat floating in coloured sludge liquid husband gambled thought it was beef he was wrong!! He thinks it was fish but who knows??? You do get fries which are cooked, left out, recooked, left out recooked and so on till they ran out!! Grilled meat you was given tiny bit ask for me you got a wave of the hand move you along ( they ran out of meat quite alot ) most days it was fish on the grill well 8 days out of the 11 it was fish!! You had your stale French stick though ( still there from breakfast) no cheese at lunch so just bread and butter unless you fancied a doughy pizza with the tiniest bit of cheese on!! Dinner are we in for a treat?? Nope same as lunch even the same French sticks bread and butter again then!! Now drinks.. There was only 3 spirits (watered down) they was forever running out of glasses you stood waiting for a glass quick rinse under the tap and here's your beer!! Disgusting very unhygienic! Pop they ran out of sprite on day 2... left coke and lemon day 5 ran out of coke they started giving out rola cola not actual coke!! We had to go and buy pop from the hotel shop very expendive not sure why the hotel didnt get it from there for their paying guests seei g as we had to buy it ?? In the dining room they had a ice bucket with the 3 bottles of pop in pop in once that ran out they said its all gone, one night there was half bottle left a chef went filled his glass stood drinking it whilst paying guests was told none left!! Hhhmmm. Zero entertainment not even music outside at night what with the 3 bottles of spirits dirty glasses and the barrelled beer night times was a blast!! Not!! Being miles from anywhere it cost you getting out then cost you eating and drinking out both you don't expect to do when you've paid for a 3 star ALL INCLUSIVE!! A good point the room was ok shabby but ok phone was broken so couldn't use it, The fridge was filthy, rusty quite disgusting!! There was 2 days we was left with no towels trot down to reception then as our phone was broke! Once we paid £20 for the TV remote we could watch the tv so we was back in our room at 8 o'clock on the nights we didn't pay to eat out! Bag of crisps bottle of pop from the shop our dinner and night was sorted!! Pool area so ma

I have just returned from our Holiday to Tunisia and am very unhappy with the hotel we stayed at. When we booked the Holiday the hotel had a 3 star rating and to be honest it was a 1 star at best. The food was off poor quality and was the same everyday, just rehashed into something else. The hot food was lukewarm at best and The drinks on offer was limited too 3 types off alcohol and 3 types off soft drinks which they used to run out of daily so we had to by our own from the shop on site at over inflated prices. The staff were brilliant but other than that I am unable to find any other positives for the hotel. Most nights I had to take the family out to eat which was an addition cost that I wasn’t expecting being that we was in an all inclusive hotel. Further more the pool area was dirty and the pool was only cleaned twice in the whole two weeks off us being there. One off the water slides was broken at the fixing points too the ground and is very unsafe but they were still letting people use it. The hotel needs investment from the owners too return it to a 3 star hotel.

I loved this hotel, the staff were very friendly and always asking how I was as I was on my own. I made some new friends in staff members and other guests from the UK, France, Germany and Hungary.. The food for me was very good, a variety and I love trying new cuisine's, I was never hungry. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the bed was great for my arthritic back. The sunrises an sunset's are amazing and I loved blow-drying my hair in the wind watching the sunset. Loved the pool and beach too, the pool lifeguard wasn't too thrilled to clean it as it is very cold, I did offer to help clean the deep end with my snorkel as I've vacuumed a pool before and found it very therapeutic. I found having a cold shower first made it easier to get in the pool as I can't dive . You can apparently use the sister Liberty hotel facilities too but have to pay to eat there. The manager was always checking on the guests and is willing to make changes to accommodate guests needs.

This was great value for money it is a 3star Hotel so don't expect 5star experience for a three star budget think a lot of these bad reviews wanted that. Hotel is in need of a bit of tlc but can't fault it for location if you are after a beach . The reception staff are very helpful yes you do have to pay a tax but it's only £5 so cheap compared to some places . The animation lads are brilliant working really hard to get everyone involved that wants to and are really friendly definitely made our holiday fun and enjoyable working really hard. The manager was always on hand to look after everyone and nothing was ever too much for him he went above and beyond lovely man. Bar staff, waiters , lifeguards and security again very friendly and helpful. All in all a great holiday not a lot around the hotel but taxis, local bus and train just outside and make it easy to get to different places Souse and Monastir aren't far and only 1dinar on the bus

Neptunia Beach 2023 Day 1: We arrived, it looked bleak.... It remained bleak for the week..... Reception and checking in! Owd bloke is a robbing, ignorant, cheating thief, he does not wear a badge so can`t check a name, he takes English money for the Tunisian tax, he does not give a receipt no matter how many times you ask, he pockets the rest of the money, he is also the one who takes on the extended room changes for the end of your stay, he again pockets the money, he gets the receipt book out but conveniently no longer speaks English when asked for the receipt.....All the waiters and bar staff are lovely and cheerful...... We didn`t have the cleaners in the room due to reading previous reviews, we asked for clean towels when we needed them, and apart from that, we cleaned the room ourselves. Anyway, still on day one, the room was nice enough, not the best but haven`t booked 5* Beds like a brick, went to lunch.... Bi Jeez, really..... Ok, they may have been having a bad day.... I`ll call back later, I got a lager for the bloke and had to travel to another bar to get a white wine for me....Sorry WHAT....... Lager is a shandy at best and Wine is vinegar and there is no at best! Day one dinner....Aww come on, nothing is named, I honestly don`t know if it is meat or veg, chips are only served at lunchtime so grab them and fill up because come dinner, you are on your own!!! Day one night, very unwell, I did not surface until two days later, thank goodness I`m a nurse and take all the pills and potions for everyone else, not expecting to be nursing myself, I ate dry bread and salted tuc crackers that were conveniently bought from the in store shop until the end of the holiday. Breakfast: Egg or not, another day, Egg or Omelette, another day, boiled egg....... Toast..... Nope, NO TOASTER......I took my own potato cakes and crumpets, all went in the bin, no toaster never heard the like...... White crusty fly infested baguettes, that`s all there is! Breakfast vegetables, yes vegetables were still named spaghetti Bolognese from the night before! Horrific dining experience from start to finish, I do not expect star service, I`m not all that but clean food is a given surely.... Oh and I forgot the swamp water dish, it was green and had stuff lurking in it..... The pizza is claggy and tasteless..... Chips are good, did I mention that? Eventually thought myself well enough on day four to get a glass of wine, 6pm, they had run out, no wine, bought my own water, partner went to get a beer/shandy, no glasses left so we both drank water, all inclusive doesn`t even include the basics, cocktails you pay for too....The whole place is shocking, the only good thing is the pool, lovely temp but then the slides get switched on and then the water polo gets going and the fight ensues to be able to swim..... Our fourth time in Tunisia in two years and countless times before, we will never return, Neptunia beach you are the final straw....
