Motel 6 Mojave, CA

Very good price for a clean and relatively new room, plus they have a laundry room for a hiker like me

It is okay. Room was cheap, a lot of things needed fixing. Towels uncomfortably thin. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Beds we’re okay. If you need a place to crash in Mojave and this is the cheapest option, it will work :)

First, found a dead BUG on the bed spread immediately upon entry. And chucked it off as "at least it's dead." Then went to get food, Came back and found a LIVE BUG crawling down the drawer of the center table between the beds. Then another LIVE BUG on the floor. Then ANOTHER on the other table where my small bag was. No way was I staying there. Went right to the office but was told that because I was already checked in over 10 minutes, their policy doesn't allow refunds. I politely asked them to waive that policy due to outstanding conditions: BUGS, lots of them. The clerk called higher manager who approved only 50% refund. I persisted for a full refund unsuccessfully. They could have done much better and given me a full refund. They offered another room but my confidence was not in that hotel. Why didn't they give me that "bugless" room first? It is the worst place in the world to stay. BUGS and then TIGHTWAD SERVICE not to give full refund. Another thing is the motel is right next to the train tracks entering town and they sound the big ol' train honk horn terrifically as they enter the town. The walls don't muffle the sound.

There was 3 people arguing for a long while in area next to pool area where I was. Service was awesome. Unfortunately, some tenants are disrespectful. I will stay here again definitely!!

Round toilet seat on oval toilet. New mattress with the plastic still on it under sheet made crinkling noises every time you moved, plus it made it hot, and uncomfortable to sleep on. Invest in bedbug protection, not factory plastic.

The hotel was loud, I was constantly hearing the train at night. The bed was hard and I had difficulty falling asleep.

Door banging upstairs and people speaking. Could sleep those two day stayed. Call the front desk.

I was surprised at the condition of our room. Bedspread was torn with burns and stains, broken TV, damaged and dirty door and walls and lots of bugs. I’ve stayed in many motel 6 locations and have never seen anything like this!

I absolutely appreciate the staff at this Motel 6. They helped my dad in a serious situation. They were respectful and supportive of him and me. They go above and beyond of being a motel. I would recommend a stay there to anyone who needs a place to stay. My dad has stayed there off and on for years. Thanks to Jay, B, Cassie, and of course the maid Mayra.
