The most cost-effective hotel I have been to Hilton during the Spring Festival. Shangri-La and other hotels. Although it is much more luxurious than this, this hotel is located in the Blue Bay beach and has a private island like Shangri-La. It is the best place for the entire Mauritius coral to see the smallest fish. It can be said that building a mid-range hotel here is simply a waste.

The bedding is very comfortable, the room design is also good, the area is a bit small, there is no place to open the big box. Snorkeling on the glass bottom is very convenient, 2 minutes walk, you can go directly to the boat 🚢 The staff was very friendly. I picked up a wood by the beach and wanted to take it back. The box could not be loaded. The hotel staff brought a saw to help me see to the length I specified. It was very Nice!

The hotel is situated on a small strip of beach, and my room looked out at this beautiful view. The bed was comfortable, and the room was okay. The door locking mechanism took some getting used to. Staff are friendly, but it feels they do not have any idea about service. I waited 45 minutes to get signed in, although I was the only customer at that time. The man at reception kept running around and telling me to sit and wait. The food at the restaurant is very, very expensive, and there are much cheaper and better restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has huge potential, but staff need hospitality training urgently to realise this! The hotel was okay for an overnight, and near the airport.

We spent five nights at the end of our holiday in Mauritius at the Blue Beryl. We had a simply furnished but well-equipped, spacious bedroom (B4). It also came with a small bedroom which proved very useful for storing our things in which there was a very large fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Our accommodation was on the first floor and had a huge balcony with 180 degree views of the sea. Breakfast was good. Blue Bay proved very convenient for Mahebourg, boat trips around the bay and visiting Ile Aigrettes. There are restaurants nearby and the large supermarket at Beau Vallon is a short drive (or taxi ride) away. It is possible to swim from the hotel beach and the snorkelling is amazing.

Where shall I start...Our stay way pretty perfect! Most of you know Mauritius for the big hotel areas, so it was an absolute miracle that we found this lil gem on the island. We had a wonderful 9 days at the SALT of Palmar. We loved that it was super tiny, and very familiar, every corner had a special detail and the service was superb. The staff really makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a Mandarin Oriental Standard, then this won't be the right one. But what this hotel had, is a lot of soul and personality. Rooms: Book a room with a sea view. We had one, but I would say that that's the magic of it. You will realize quite fast that the hotel is refurbished, so here and there you see that it's not 100% up to date, but it really doesn't matter. The rooms were super clean, and spacious and had a great personalized interior. Housekeeping in the morning and also for turndown service did a great job. Thanks to the team! You will see that TV is missing and also Mini-Bars, but that's why you have chosen a Lil boutique hotel over a big chain. Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and located around the corner, so u don't get the feeling that it's getting crowded with too many guests, what I loved. The pool is nice, but there could be more sunbeds. Be aware that you are on the eastern side, so when u arrive in August or September, it's very windy and may get chilly. While in November, you will be happy to have the breeze. Snorkelling: Yes, you can snorkel, and you will see fish. But don't expect reef-like on the Maledives for sure. Food: ONE OF A KIND. If you are looking for endless buffets and a big choice just to look at, this won't be your cup of tea. The food was just amazing. Very individualized menu, a big variety. We didn't eat twice the same. The breakfast menu was outstanding and so was the coffee (which usually always sucks in hotels). Nevertheless, you have to say that if you wanna dishes outside the included menu or wines, they are quite expensive (even for Europeans). The only experience, where we were not really stunned, was the cocktails at any point. Watery, not really strong etc. Foodservice: A very big thanks to the service team. you made our experience stunning, also the way you took care of my parents and everything around my mom's birthday. Her dedication and care made her not just a wonderful hostess but a cherished part of our experience. We rate her an emphatic 10+/10. Equally remarkable was Kailash. With his innate knack for arranging romantic breakfasts and dinners in our room, his charismatic presence as he drove us around the resort in his buggy, and his assertiveness that ensured all our needs were met, he was instrumental in making our holiday complete. His personable demeanor is a true credit to the hotel. Our appreciation extends to the room service team as well. Koomar, Veenaye, Joanne, Tarvesh, Nitesh, and Sanjeev all contributed to facilitating a seamless and unforgettable experience. Their collective attention to detail, promptness, and friendly demeanor were remarkable. However, the standout personality and the heart of the Constance Belle Mare Plage was Kris. You will find him on the beach, armed with an unbeatable selection of cocktail recommendations. His mixology skills are top-notch, and his engaging conversations coupled with a fantastic sense of humor made our beach days exceptionally memorable. Kris was not only an employee of the hotel but became a friend who enriched our stay. In summary, our experience at the Constance Belle Mare Plage was truly magical, fueled by the unwavering dedication of its staff, the beauty of its surroundings, and the exceptional level of service that made us feel like royalty.
