Nice location and resort; outdoor pool was cool but still enjoyable. Nice amenities and things to do there. Front staff were very kind and friendly!! Only difficulty was room wasn’t set for 3 people and we asked several times for coffee and mug. Otherwise it was very nice!

This place is the worst! Bail and switch. What a disgrace! I bought and paid for a room a month prior to my arrival. I got a confirmation letter, and received many texts and emails about the resort. Including, “We can’t wait for your stay”. I hand picked this resort for a reason and drove 5 1/2 hours to get there. I went to check in and they told me there were “no rooms available” and that they booked me into another hotel 7 miles away. No texts, emails, or phone calls. If that’s the way they treat people that have conformation saying you’re booked and confirmed. Do yourself a favor. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This place is money hungry and will “bump you out” for an extra dime from someone else”! ZERO STARS. Never been treated like this in my life. Tell everyone to stay away!!!!!

Staff absolutely excellent (particularly Diana in kitchen, Kristina, Hasham & Ana on reception). Hotel overpriced for average 4* but that's general in the Keys. We probably wouldn't stay again because of this(particularly at spring break time!)

Helpful staff, great food, clean & recently renovated rooms, nice amenities, but most importantly, it was in the middle of everything we wanted to do from Key Largo to Key West! They had great recommendations for food, out of the way spots, and even some "secrets". It was a great stay

For the price, definitely an underwhelming experience. No direct beach access (although the website makes it appear that it does), and room had a view of two dumpsters (next to which staff and perhaps guests were frequently smoking). I typically do not leave poor reviews, but again, for the price we paid, we weren't impressed. The staff was super friendly - best part of the stay -- and, the views from the dock/marina are great. The grounds/pool area were well kept.

A beautiful location and a sister resort 100 yards away. One has yachts in front of the bar and the other has the ocean in front of the bar. Easy to get to and well-maintained. The staff was outstanding. ideally located halfway between Miami and Key West drove to Key West for a day and it was an easy trip.

The rooms advertised in the website are way off- Dirty and overpriced. The elevator and the hallways are never clean. It needs a major improvement- I won’t stay here again or recommend to my friends and family.

My family recently stayed at Faro Blanco, and overall, our experience was positive. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was good, and our room was comfortable. However, I feel compelled to share an incident that marred our stay. On the night of March 25th, 2024, while my wife was at the resort pool, she encountered a member of the night security staff whose behavior was completely unacceptable. He rudely asked my wife to leave the pool area without proper explanation. Additionally, there were comments made that were insensitive and unwelcoming regarding if she could speak English. Despite promptly reporting the incident to the night manager, no appropriate action was taken, and there was a lack of follow-up. Additionally, there were multiple witnesses to this inappropriate behavior. Such behavior is not in line with the standards of hospitality and respect that should be upheld at Faro Blanco. Every guest deserves to feel safe and respected during their stay, regardless of any characteristic. I hope that by sharing this experience, the hotel management at Faro Blanco will take immediate steps to address this issue and ensure that similar incidents do not occur in the future. Until then, I cannot fully endorse this hotel.

Staff was great but whole building needs remodeling & whirlpool & workout facilitys. Staff was very good. Maintenance never turned on fire table until an hour after asking front seat to turn on. Room was worn out needed remodeling
