Family Hotel Vespera

Considering the relatively high rating, expectations were high, but we are disappointed. If you are a fan of cleanliness, good service and delicious food, this is not the place for you. The beach in front of the hotel is not for children, but we knew that. A short walk and you have reached the beautiful pebble beach, which unfortunately is not pampered or groomed. A kitchen with bad food and not at all suitable for children, especially if you have a child who does not eat a variety, and the tidiness of the kitchen is very poor. Charge for washing beach towels, very disappointing. The parking lot is very poorly organized and untidy. The place is beautiful and it's a shame for the hotel that they don't try to bring back the guests. The price is very high for this type of service.

We chose Vespera for our summer vacation during the high season in Croatia. We were afraid that it would be too crowded, but the hotel is well run and although it was crowded, we did not have to wait during meals etc. The hotel restaurant is very large and food is replenished regularly. Dinner has a wide variety and was different every day. Very tasty traditional Croatian food. The cleaning of the room and the hotel was excellent and I had the impression that there is enough staff, which is not common in Croatia. Most of the staff is not Croatian. Pool area well maintained and not crowded. Beaches all arount the hotel and beautiful nature invite long walks. It is 30 minutes walk to Mali Losinj and 20-30 minutes to Uvala Čikat. We had an excellent stay and thank you Vespera.

We had great time at Vespera. Hotel is clean, service and staff are very polite. Children animation is very good, they have activities for all age groups during all day and mini disco at evenning. Food is good, they could improve offer for breakfast, but generally food was better than in some more expensive hotels. But what we liked the most is beautiful nature that is surrounding the hotel, relaxing scent of pine trees and the sound of waves and crickets that you hear all day.

Very positive, professional and relaxed children’s hotel. We absolutely loved this hotel! ALL the staff were outstanding, rare for Croatia, they were always wiling to help, and had smiles on their faces everyday. The kids club is the best that we have experienced, the evening discos are varied and they even put on a play that was very memorable. Their mascot had a birthday and there was a huge cake for the kids, very cool. They offer free lunches for children everyday, this is not just a snack but a full blown meal including soup and a fantastic child friendly main, fruit and cake. The hotel is clean and the children’s areas disinfected regularly. It is modern and well kept. Room cleaning is precise and thorough. The beaches are well equipt with lots to do and the hotel restaurants there are serving good quality food, prices are reasonable for the current climate. ’Borik‘ beach bar and restaurant was our favorite, very chic with fantastic service and food. The surrounding are is enchanting and the beaches are stunning. They are pretty rocky but there are also plenty child friendly pebbly beaches too. We have been to many children’s hotels in Croatia, some with ridiculous price tags, Vespera is reasonably priced and includes everything you need for a great family holiday.

We visited Vespera second time this year, we stayed here for our summer holiday last year as well. Both of our stays were awesome. The restaurant is fantastic, there are a lot of choices, they even think of people who has food allergies and also for the kids. It’s a Great place for families, it’s a lot do, a lot of fun. Stuff is friendly and nice. Honestly I can’t say any wrong about this hotel. The water fitness was super cool, thanks Abi! It is definitely one of the best places I’ve ever been. Thanks Vespera!

We stayed in hotel for 10 days. Everything was perfect - food, clean rooms, animation for children, seaside. Special thanks and congratulations to the every single staff member. The atmosphere is really friendly and we enjoyed our stay there. We will be back soon (hopefully). ;)

They gave us a different room from what we reserved - much smaller, ground floor. The room had issues with electricity, it kept switching the lights off and on pretty much whole night. Reception told us no resolution until morning. We had very bad sleep that night. In the morning I asked to talk to the manager, but she was "too busy", so we decided to leave hotel (our reservation was originally for 9 days). Additionally, breakfast place was extremely busy (self-service) and judging by the quantity of food some guests were taking it looked like they didn't eat for a while. Not our kind of game.

We had a wonderful 1 week stay at Vespera Family Hotel. Perfect child friendly hotel, our little boy would go back already. The animation team with the children were very professional, the mini disco and Pino madness in the evening completely enchanted the children, it was great to see so many happy little children. All the staff at the hotel were very nice, smiling and helpful, so a special congratulations is in order. Close to the hotel is the Veli Zal beach, which can be used for little children's beach time. The full board met all expectations, the food was delicious. The cleanliness was also impeccable. Areas for improvement; - The quality and firmness of the extra beds could be improved by a cover mattress. - the availability of coffee machines in the restaurant could be improved with more frequent refills and maintenance We would like to return for a longer holiday.

All perfect, we was travelling by ev car, and Hotel give us possibility to charge in front, for free, no issue.
