The two bedroom suite we stayed in was really spacious and nice. It wasn’t as clean as I expected. There was hair and dirt in the fridge and the toilets. They gave us an inventory of everything in the apartment. Quite a few things were missing, which we pointed out. I had purchased a nice bottle of Rioja and was looking forward to relaxing the night we arrived. But the listed corkscrew was missing! We notified the staff member and he said he’d bring one. Hours later I asked again. He said he’d bring it the next day. We never got a corkscrew and I wasn’t able to enjoy my rioja. We asked for more nespresso coffee pods for the room. The staff member told us to come downstairs and get it ourselves. The next day my husband went down to get some more coffee and another staff member told us we weren’t allowed to get our own coffee and was really rude about it. He said we had to call and ask for it. We also had been getting refills on the dishwasher detergent. We asked for more one day and we’re told we were responsible for buying our own. Overall, I was disappointed in the customer service at this hotel. The staff were rude and unhelpful. The room was spacious but not as clean as I was expecting. Disappointing.

Definitely a very good option to stay in Madrid, I’m staying here in December that I go back there. I really can recommend this place, the only downside is that if someone from your neighbors leave early the maid services can make so much noice and you end up waking up because of the noise they make.

We stayed 4 nights before Christmas. The hotel was quite nice and very festive! Very much enjoyed the large area around and up to the hotel bar on the ground level. Nice place to relax, and also have a drink. We did not eat at the hotel however. The staff was also quite pleasant and we got a quiet room higher up facing the interior courtyard. The room was well kept, perfect size, and well furnished. The concierge helped us find things to do, and we learned how to get to the nearby metro stations to head downtown. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice, quiet, and with a number of very small boutique restaurants. Another added bonus was that the famous Sorolla Museum (His House) is just a few blocks away. We would return here.

I booked this hotel with my son as it is a musically themed hotel and it has exceeded all expectations.On arrival we were greeted by Anthony who was extremely helpful and very informative.There are complimentary instruments you my can book to play or if you wish you can also book a replica vinyl turntable for your room with your choice of vinyl.Lovely pool side area with chilled music in the background.All of the staff here have been very kind and helpful during our stay.Superb hotel. A nice hotel with many lovely features on each floor , shame about no coffee making facilities in room a huge disappointment as it’s the first thing we like when we wake up , only ate in hotel once food was terrible for a 5 star had to send my husband’s back and got a very cold response from waitress , put things on our table we didn’t ask for and expected us to pay €12 for a bit of bread it’s not how it should be , we were not willing to pay the full bill and the waitress was rude and if looks could kill , receptionist were helpful and sorted any issues out we had , please employ staff that know how to be with customers it stopped us eating there again at the very expensive cost.location was okay but not as central as we were lead to believe but still worth a visit just for the style . Please be warned the pool is ice cold as not heated and lots of the hotel was closed so we didn’t get to use most of it and that was disappointing as it was one of the reasons we booked with them.it wasn’t a cheap hotel we were a couple with our parents and expect coffee making facilities in our room at that cost. Please take that on board hotel owners .

Only a single bed and a desk that could not be used because there was a TV on it. I was going to pay a extra in the hotel to get a NH room. The hotel blamed Trip for this problem.

Stayed for 2 weeks at the end of January. I was visiting another company that had an office a 10 minute walk from the hotel so very convenient. Food the in on site restaurant was of a good quality and there is plenty of restaurants nearby if you want to change it up a bit. Good breakfast in the morning with plenty of choice. Room and overall hotel was clean and staff were polite and looked after me during my stay. The football stadium is a short walk away and you can hop on the metro to visit the more touristy centre of madrid if you need. The station is right outside. The airport is only a 15 minute drive away. Will stay here again.

Our hotel at Crisol Vía Castellana was okay but nothing more - to be honest I expected more, especially from a 4 star hotel. To start with the good things: the service is okay, breakfast is very nice and the metro and busses are right infront of the hotel (you still need to take 2 different trains to get to the most famous places though). Depending on the room you have a view above the street which can be enjoyable. You receive some cute chocolates and cosmetics when you arrive in the room. Nevertheless the hotel really needs a renovation! Starting with the lobby that only has some old and dirty sofas placed inside and could be designed in a way more comfortable way. The rooms really disappointed me!! We booked one king size bed and had two single beds. The safe didn´t work. The water in the shower changed from hot to cold very quickly. Most of the doors and shelfs had damages and looked very used. All in all I wouldn´t choose the hotel again unless it´s been renovated.

Stayed end of Feb during a business trip, greeted by the main entrance doors not working and the side door jammed. Security assisted with gaining access but not a great impression. The hotel card reader was not reading any of my cards even though I had just used them outside. I asked where the nearest bank was but the staff could not help apart from shrugging their shoulders. Another person had the same issue after me and it transpired the trainee receptionist had not got the experience to deal with the issues. The hotel was clean with decent rooms as you would expect at this level, the rest of my stay was pleasant with helpful staff.

I really like it. First of all, the location is very good. Public transportation is also convenient. Shopping and eating around are very convenient. British companies are within walking distance. The hotel is clean and trendy, and the red color is very eye-catching. The front desk staff were courteous and the processing speed was fast. The elevator required swiping a card. The room was large enough, the bedding was comfortable, the bathroom was large, clean and tidy, the shower water pressure was sufficient, and there was a hair dryer and an iron. You need to swipe your card to enter the tenth-floor gym and swimming pool. The swimming pool service staff are very enthusiastic. I had dinner at the restaurant on the right side of the hotel entrance. It was delicious. The service in the restaurant was also very good. The price was not much different from our restaurant. A great experience, I slept very comfortably these two nights.

The bar/restaurant area is cozy and comfortable. There is a large interesting bookshelf, with lots of books to read. Also industrial lights in lobby add interest to the room. The room was very spacious with a great bed. Bedside table and lights were also nice. Closet space was great, space for suitcases was a plus. The bath has wonderful rain shower head with super hot water. The is walk in but spacious.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in February. We would never stay here again. In terms of facilities and comfort, we had a pleasant stay. Our bedroom was large, clean, and well-furnished, and the adjoining gym and spa is fantastic. We opted for a VIP stay, meaning we were on the VIP floor (the highest floor – 15), and this included a VIP lounge, and free gym and spa access. Unfortunately, our stay at this otherwise decent hotel was overshadowed by a theft from our room. One afternoon, whilst we were at the gym, I had a €50 note stolen from my wallet, which had been left in our hotel room. I only realised a few hours later when we were out for dinner. When we traced back our day, and our spending, it became clear the money could only have gone missing when my wallet had been left unattended in the room for 4 hours. The theft of the money is not hugely fundamental. (We were planning to leave a much bigger tip for the hotel staff than a mere €50.) The sad reality, however, was that our trust and safety had been compromised. We no longer felt safe to leave valuables in our room. We felt violated, and our trust in the hotel had been breached. This incident was made worse by the poor way it was dealt with by the Guest Relations Manager, Paul Cozma. Paul approached us during breakfast the next morning. He said he wanted to resolve the issue and repair our trust in the hotel. He asked us for ideas on how to fix the problem. We couldn’t think of anything at the time, but a few hours later we suggested the hotel arrange a free taxi for us back to the airport later in the week (€30). This would have been a nice gesture. Later that same day, Paul and the hotel rejected our suggestion. In the end, the hotel failed to do or offer anything. We had asked Paul whether anyone from the hotel had accessed our room between 12pm and 4pm on the day in question. (The room had already been cleaned at 11am.) Paul told us, yes – a member of staff had entered our room between those times. However, this member of staff was a “long established and trusted employee who had worked at the hotel for 30 years”. Consequently, nothing was done. No questions asked. No investigation. No apology. To his credit, Paul Cozma was always polite and respectful. However, for a ‘Guest Relations Manager’ Paul has no power or influence to maintain or repair guest relations. On the day we were leaving, Paul even admitted to us that he had failed to offer any solutions or take any action regarding the theft from our room. Having read the reviews on Tripadvisor, we noticed that other people have had similar experiences. Whilst staying at the hotel, other guests have had money stolen from their rooms. We cannot recommend staying at this hotel, therefore and we would encourage readers of this review to think twice. Ask yourself this: if multiple guests at this hotel have reported money being stolen from their rooms, most likely by the hotel’s own staff – with the hotel failing to
