Part of a hostel. Bedroom is small with worn out built in robes. There’s ironing board with no iron. Living area is spacious. TV only has Spanish programs. Kitchen has fridge, electric cooktop, washing machine, dishwasher, pots & fry pan, plates/bowls, kitchen utensils. No dishwashing powder for dishwasher, nor washing machine. One problem is there’s no power point in kitchen area for benchtop electrical appliances. For some reason the electrician didn’t connect any power points next to benchtop. We had to use the kettle, toaster & coffee machine at the power point next to the floor. Even the staff couldn’t explain why. Maybe only in suite 306. Staff has to defrost the fridge as it’s slowly building up ice. 3rd night was a bit noisy from nearby till early hours of the morning not sure from nearby neighbourhood or from hostel. No tea/coffee/milk provided. Stayed 3 nights with no housekeeping done. Good location facing road leading to Plaza Mayor. It’s a very busy street. Not very clean with lots of rubbish & homeless people sleeping around the place. Other streets much cleaner & some with beautiful buildings.

The hotel is at a great location, which is within walking distance to almost all the attractions in Madrid. The parliament is nearby the hotel, which is safe. It's clean and has good service! Turning left and walking for 30 meters, there is a good restaurant, which is cost-effective.

The best hostel I have ever experienced in Madrid. Everything is so near. Strategic location and super easy to commute. The lady staff is extremely friendly and sweet. She is always taking care of the cleanliness of the hostel. The beds and Washrooms are clean. Kudos to HC Callao team. Highly recommended and i will definitely come back for my next summer holidays. Mucho gracias!

This review is for 60 balconies iconic. So, a surprise for me, after reserving on booking.com, is that this is an apart hotel. Positives - the location is AMAZING and the room (we had an appt for 3 people) was EXCELLENT . Staff were very helpful. Very clean throughout. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. A gorgeous breakfast was delivered every morning. Bread, fruit, yogurts, cereals… Negatives - pool (which had workmen upgrading the roof terrace) was freezing. Naturally, not heated, but attached to hose from mains water. Icy. Personally, not a fan of the frosted glass doors/walls to the toilet. We had a large teenager sleeping on the pull down single bed. Was a bit small. Positives far outweigh the negatives. As long as you don’t have your heart set on swimming, you will not regret staying here.

Hotel that is not really a ... No reception on site which is located in another establishment****t of a adjacent street. A double-room, despite the persistent smell of freshly posed painting ... A simple room, at the same price, absolutely escaped: very demanding with bathroom of the same end; very difficult to return, no rangement possible and especially giving side street, which is particularly animated all night ... A this add the total absence of noise insonorization of the building that decouples the very noisy character of this establishment*****t : Telephone, access to conversations including telephones from your room neighbors, doors that clack, voice screams and ************** ... live guaranteed! For the telereality amateurs this can therefore do the case... The only positive points are: - The innocent cleanliness of this establishment*****t. The only soul that lives and possible interlocutor... - His geographical location - And especially the establishment*****t from the face! Blume Cruz suites where you can take a delicious breakfast while enjoying a particularly sympathetic and warm welcome :)
