The Goring

Buckingham Palace London|0.57km from The Ebury
The hotel is small overall but exquisite and has a century of history. The Queen's badge is hung at the door, which means that the Queen can be served. This badge is also available in London or the Ritz Hotel. 1. The hotel is not 5 minutes from Victoria Station. The Royal Stable Museum is next door. It is only 10 minutes to Buckingham Palace. After visiting Buckingham Palace, you can walk along St. James Park through 10 Downing Street to Big Ben. These attractions All within walking distance. If you want to shop, choose a hotel in the Mayfair area. In addition, three or more colleagues in London recommend UBER, the subway is really expensive. 2. Upon entering the hotel, the bellman was very active to help carry the luggage, and then a special housekeeper would greet him. After the name was determined, he would take the guests to the cafe for check-in, and the drinks were free. 3. The room is relatively large in London. Aparsel is used for toiletries, aerated bottle of mineral water and hilon is used for a normal bottle. These are all royally certified products. The service of turning the night bed is also very attentive. On the bed is a little sheep, a mascot of the hotel, which can be taken away. There will be water on the bed, slippers on the bed, and pajamas on the wardrobe. There is no small refrigerator in the room. I don't know why. 4. If you book a room with breakfast, you can choose to dine in two places of the hotel, one is the hotel's restaurant, here is 1 Michelin star, here is a la carte system, providing full English meals, but dining here is more slow. In addition, if you choose to dine in the cafe, only bread and drinks are provided here, which is suitable for guests in a hurry. In addition to the hotel is not very convenient for shopping, it can be considered perfect, it is worth the experience.

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to Victoria Coach Station (we were leaving the next day on a cruise from Southampton). The beauty of this location is that you can easily pull your suitcase out of the front door and to Victoria Coach Station in about 3 minutes. Super easy. Due to a late plane--we arrived late evening and the front desk apologized that our room was on the 3rd floor. I was anticipating no elevator so had packed overnight essentials in a small carryon bag. The front desk stored our large suitcases in a luggage room. The stairs are steep and narrow--would have been difficult to negotiate with our large suitcases. The hotel is also quite close to Victoria Train Station and noise from the trains might be troublesome for light sleepers--but even though our window was overlooking the train tracks, we felt that the air conditioner noise pretty much blocked out all train noise. The bed was very comfy--the room was quite small (and we were so glad our large suitcases were downstairs, because there wasn't too much extra room around the bed to walk. The bathroom was modern, spotlessly clean and larger than expected. A generous boxed breakfast was delivered to the room in the AM and included milk, cereal, danish, an egg, yogurt and a banana (if my memory serves me right). There was coffee available downstairs in the lobby. The gentlemen at the front desk when we checked in and checked out were very friendly and helpful--suggesting someplace to eat for dinner and helping us with our bags. This is a great hotel for an overnight stay near Victoria Station--the rooms are small by American standards--but the economical price was very much appreciated and the location was perfect.

Hotel location is excellent, 2 minutes to the supermarket, 5 minutes to Victoria Coach Station (Victoria Coach Station), 10-12 minutes to Victoria Station (Victoria Station), which is Victoria Station, Metro Station, Bus Terminal. It takes only 10 minutes to travel to GOLDEN TOURS, a day trip to London, and 15 to 20 minutes to Buckingham Palace. In short, it is very convenient to travel, even to Westminster Abbey, Westminster Abbey, we are all walking, not far. From the airport T3 terminal to the hotel 45 minutes, take the NATIONAL EXPRESE, 10 pounds, but the price changes at any time. The hotel is very clean and quiet at night, as the hotel is in the affluent area, the hotel breakfast is OK, there is less vegetable. The room is not big, the club room I booked is OK, the gold in London is gold, compared to the hotel in other places in the early days. There is no elevator, someone will help you with your luggage, you have to pay a tip. If you arrive early in the hotel, the room is not cleaned, and the baggage is worth £2. Free to travel in London, this hotel is cost-effective.
Belgravia Rooms Hotel

I booked a room via the booking com website. They had fairly good reviews and the photos looked really nice so I thought this was gonna be a good place for my daughter's first visit in the UK. When we were going up the stairs there was nothing worrying. Might have thought that the place needs a bit doing up but ignored it. However, when we entered the room we were shocked to find that we were given an almost entirely rotten room that looked nothing like the pictures and not corresponding to the reviews at all. The beds were some creaky cot beds with really thin mattresses. The window was a flaky rotten single glazed frame that didn't even budge and we hurt our fingers to get it closed. Bathroom wise the door frame, where door handle was, had fallen off and the handle was just hanging there. There was other people's hairs on the door on the inside. The sink was so tiny like those you find on boats and whenever we washed our hands the entire bathroom got wet. We had to use one of our own towels to keep drying the floor which we obviously had to put in the bin after. The toilet was blocked and had to unblock it ourselves just to get on with our daily needs. The shower head was broken and there was no pressure for hot water. The shower door was broken too and fell on my daughter while she was washing, had to set it back up just to get out. There was no venting at all which made the room steamy and super humid after a shower. The walls looked mucky like they haven't been cleaned in years. The only good things about this room was that there was plenty of working power sockets, a working kettle, some coffee and tea and a semi-working electric heater which was also broken where the switches are which I'm sure wasn't that safe but we had to use it anyway because we were cold from that thin window. The electric locks were alright, considering. When we asked for fresh sheets we were told that we get them every 5 days and if we want new ones any sooner than that we had to pay for them. All in all it was embarrassing. I haven't seen my daughter in months and had to put her through this. There was other more popular hotels at the same price. I don't know why I fell for this stupid trap.

If your room is in the same building as the front desk, you can also eat breakfast there. When the rooms are side by side with different entrances, they keep everything in the refrigerator in the room. Yogurt, milk, juice, and jam are all provided for each person. There was a toaster, pot, and microwave. There is no elevator, so you have to go up and down narrow stairs. There were some staff members who needed attention.

So we stayed in Tophams hotel in the Belgravia area of London, and location was great. The hotel is conveniently located, with a 5-minute walk to the Victoria park Train station, 1 minute to a hop on off bus, and 10 minutes to the Victoria Palace theatre. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which was a positive aspect of my stay. However, the room size was way too small for my liking, only offering enough space to walk around the bed. Additionally, there were renovations going on downstairs, which caused a constant thud throughout the day. This was a concern for me, as it felt like our comfort was not a priority for the management. The continental breakfast was good, and they also offered to cook from the menu if preferred. Overall, I would grade Tophams hotel as a 3-star property. While the location is great and the room was clean and comfortable, the small room size and ongoing renovations were a letdown.
