The advantage is that it is close to the subway station and basically across the road from the station. The room is small and it is acceptable considering the location. But the facilities are average, the hair dryer is bad, the bottle of bath liquid cannot be opened, I have to run two times at the front desk to deal with this. When I left, the front desk asked me if I wanted to give a tip for 9.8 pounds. The first time I was tipped by the front desk of the hotel, I was embarrassed and gave it in person. But I was very uncomfortable, because the room rate should include service, why tip? I used to stay in the store, and I tipped the bellman at most, never asked for it at the front desk. I also repeatedly charged the room fee and found it by me. They said that they did not receive the room fee given by the platform. How can I have my check-in information if I don't receive the room fee? Fortunately, after contacting Trip.com, Trip.com refunded me the prepaid room rate. But everyone must be careful.

It is close to the Natural History Museum and it takes half an hour to reach Hyde Park and Harrods. The room was too small and the suitcase could not be placed. The bathroom is also small. Truly an experience. My wife and I brought my mom to London for her 80th birthday, as afternoon tea at The Ritz was still on her bucket list. She had no idea I booked our stay there as well, and the Rolls Royce pickup from the airport. The hotel itself is what you expect, the Luis XVI style common areas and rooms are beautiful, but what really makes the place memorable, are the people. From our first contact with Johan, and our check in with Giacomo, Gavin, Roberto everyone was fantastic throughout our stay. The amount of time that the folks at reception are willing to spend just chatting and sharing stories with you is something you just don't find elsewhere. Many thoughtful interactions with my mom as the whole place seemed to know her big birthday was coming up. It was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you everyone at the Ritz for making it happen.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at San Domenico House this summer. We stayed for four nights and loved it start to finish. Our original hotel turned out to be a busy and was terrible so we were in search of a new hotel, and San Domenico House was our savior! From the moment we stepped in the doors the staff was welcoming and helpful and accommodated. Our unique needs. We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room occasionally in our rooms. We had a special cake that needed refrigeration that the staff took care of, and Even cut with T Service and delivered to the rooftop terrace one evening, the small boutique like feel of the hotel was our haven away from the bustling city of London. The surrounding areas of old Chelsea were delightful easy walk to shopping and retail streets the street out front of the hotel is quiet making for easy taxi pick up and drop off. if you get a chance to stay at San Domenico House, you won’t be sorry

Also some items that are British beans and such. Several blocks to the Underground South Kensington station. Across the street from the V & A museum. Short walk to Harrolds, a must see! Amazing food hall, tea shops, chocolates and gems! Nice bar off the lobby with sofas and comfy chairs. Wine was reasonable price, 7 pounds. Two free drinks for booking room directly with hotel. Executive twin room was small, but adequate. Two chairs a table and a desk with chair, Robes, free bottle of water in mini-fridge daily. Nice view of the V & A museum from two large windows, that open. AC in room. Great shower!

When my child left the hotel, I complained that I stayed at the hotel entrance because she felt that she had no face when she let others know that we were guests of this hotel. Even the children feel that it is shameful to live here, and the conditions of the hotel are limited. The facade of the hotel is only two or three meters wide, all rooms use a staircase, and it is a vertical one. There was no restaurant, so breakfast had to be delivered to the door of the room, only two slices of bread, one boiled egg, jam and butter, a cup of tea or coffee. My biggest concern is the fire problem. Once the low-rise room is on fire, the upstairs tenants are hard to escape because there is only one narrow and steep staircase.

We had been travelling for many hours from Cornwall and were met by such a warm and friendly greeting by Raymond and his colleague. I was travelling with my Husband and 18 year old son and were very kindly upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which was such a kind and thoughtful thing to do. Raymond made a recommendation for dinner which was very helpful and saved us looking around for somewhere to eat as it was getting late. My husband was having an operation the next day so we were very anxious but everything was perfect with the apartment and I have to say Raymond was so helpful and friendly every time we entered or left the building.
