Excellent riverside room and a wonderful resort overall. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The gardens and surroundings in the resort are well maintained. The swimming pool is a great place to relax on a sunny afternoon, the restaurant and bar has excellent food refreshing drinks. It gets quite busy on the weekend and with big groups, but you can see why once you experience the facilities. Apart from the resort it's also home to safpar, they have many different options for travel along the zambezi and falls. We chose the river float, game drive and sunset cruise combo (Around $180) and it was totally worth it! Will definitely stop by again next time I'm in town.

This hotel was excellent ! The location was right on the Zambezi River. The accommodation was in chalets which very spacious and clean. Shower and bathroom were high spec. Restaurant was an open air bar style overlooking the river. Menu fantastic. In the evening there was entertainment. Staff extremely professional and welcoming. 15 mins drive to Victoria Falls. Can book many excursions direct from reception. I opted for the Zambezi River Cruise, where the cruise departs from the hotel. Would go back again.

Touristy place of course and they want money for everything, including for towels to use at the swimming pool! They also sell you tours all the time! But at least the place is nice, some monkeys around, nice garden, room was clean, breakfast was nice and staff at breakfast and dinner was friendly. Dinner cheap, beer cheap. But lots of guests are primitive and do not behave nice. Overall not bad for two nights. Not far from the falls. Sambia is a very poor country and the difference with Namibia is like day and night.

The worst part of the hotel is the actual rooms. Outside it seems nice and I’m sure people have had good experiences. Unfortunately we had several complications that made this not the case for us. Our first room, the toilet broke. They fixed it but the room smelled horrendous from whatever they had to do with the pipes. They gave us a new room. The hotel is very spread out (if you have mobility issues or cannot walk over stone surfaces, you may want to rethink). We walked several minutes to reception to get the key only to be told the person with the key was outside the room. We walk back, no one is there. We were leaving for a tour so we left our stuff in the smelly room and were told it would be moved to a new room. We come back and are given the keys to the new room and told our stuff is there. It’s not. It’s in the old room which is locked. We walk back to reception. This happened several more times before the problem is resolved. There are no phones in the room, so what could have been a quick phone call was instead multiple walks to and from reception. After the tour, I just wanted to lay down and relax but the new room was filled with mosquitos. We had to spray the room and leave it for at least an hour. The pillow case and duvet were so stained, I had to check with the cleaner to make sure the room was actually clean. Also, the electricity regularly cut in and out without warning. It is a very beautiful location. The restaurant on site is very nice and I would highly recommend that! The staff were all very friendly and genuinely wanted to help just had poor communication with other staff. Everything outside of the actual room was lovely.

Have not stayed at the hotel but came for lunch on 2 separate day trips to victoria falls. Both times the food and service were both good. Great atmosphere to eat in the deck right on the river. Looked like there were quite a few guests staying at the hotel and there were a lot of people booking various activities.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They assisted with planning and booking our chosen activities. We stayed in a chalet which was comfortable. The air conditioner was very helpful, although it did struggle in the high heat and humidity. There are areas where a little attention to maintenance should be applied. The location is good as a base to explore the area.

The Waterfront offered the perfect resting spot while I discovered Livingstone and surroundings. The grounds are beautiful and the many shaded spots offered great relief from the heat. All staff were professional and courteous, the chalet was comfortable (with a killer view of the Zambezi) and the food - especially the pizza - was really, really good.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront. The location is great and the staff is amazing. The chalets are too expensive for what you get in my opinion and some have obstructed views but other than that, you’ll enjoy staying there!

We loved our stay here. From the room to the food to helping making adventure arrangements we couldn't have asked for better service. It was like being welcomed into a family without any drama. It was fun, comfortably beautiful, and an all around great experience. Couldn't recommend The Waterfront more.
