Hotels in Lapu-Lapu City with Swimming Pools

We booked the Cebu Suite, but when we arrived the hotel, they said my room is not available. The hotel said because the agency had late payment and the room is no longer available. Trip.com tried to help me but it took me an hour to settle the problem. Actually I am not satisfied because I contacted Trip.com before my trip to confirm the room again but they said the room is reserved for me. If they checked more carefully would make my trip more smooth. Luckily they helped me to settle the problem. During the stay, the room is a bit old, I want more blankets and towels for my kids but they didn’t provide. The waterpark is good, the breakfast is okay, the staff are nice. My kids enjoy the trip.

I booked this hotel with my 11 year daughter to have my birthday staycation. The hotel was quite new and designs are modern. Check in was very smooth with very kind polite front desk officers. I was allowed to have an early check in as the hotel wasnt fully booked at that time and was kind to offer me a room upgrade. I politely declined the upgrade as the bed configuration wasnt suited for me and my daughter. We wanted a twin bed and the room upgrade was for one queen sized bed only. The size of our room was relatively small for a twin bed room. Its roughly 21sqm in size and it kinda tight when all your luggages and things have been all around the room. The Buffet breakfast was on the average side, Hot dishes werent kept warm and choices was kinda limited. But for the average kind of breakfast spread, I wouldnt complain more. The hotel is very near (I mean walking distance) to 7/11 convenience Stores, good quality restaurants nearby , Mcdonalds, Mactan Alfresco etc... I love the ambiance of the community ... its like a little city within a small community. Not that I really didnt like that much, but it was just something that I didnt appreciated much... its the hotel's pool that looks like blurry and wasnt kept clean by the time we went to visit the area. The prices at the bar was kinda pricey and wouldnt offer any happy hour during the day. The Surroundings of the pool area werent kept clean and aesthetically pleasing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Savoy.

The location of the hotel provides a good view of the beach. More so, the hotel room is very clean and the staff are very accommodating. There some restaurants within the hotel and the foods are very good. The downside for the location is that no convenience store nearby but the overall experience was fantastic. Will definitely book here again this month or Dec.

During my stay, I enjoyed the spa services, which were incredibly relaxing. The resort also offers a range of activities, from water sports to cultural experiences, ensuring there’s never a dull moment. In conclusion, my stay at Costabella Resort in Cebu, Philippines, was truly great. I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and with memories that will last a lifetime. Plantation Bay is again my favorite hotel on Mactan. I was there August of 22, January of this year and just finished a stay in May. Here are some things to consider about Plantation Bay: - It’s the only large Filipino owned resort on Mactan and they must treat there staff incredibly well because everyone I spoke with has worked there 10+years - unlike other resorts they have a no tipping policy - The large salt water lagoons are beautiful and large enough that they never feel crowded - Plantation Bay offers a variety of food options for every taste - They have a wide variety of on site activities and offer multiple excursions outside the resort for reasonable prices To be fair there were a couple of things that could improve but those are minor - The beach towels need to be replaced. The bathroom towels are great but the beach towels were old and thin - During busy periods when you call bell service or guest relations the phone just rings with no answer. Overall though, this is the best place to stay on Mactan. Great service, unique activities, great staff, and some of the best swimming pools anywhere Here are some tips: - if you are not traveling with kids, the waters edge rooms are amazing. You can step from your deck directly into the lagoon - Consider the Route 66 Diner for breakfast. Good food and never crowded -A romantic dinner at Palermo’s is a great option on site - I paid the extra $50 to have a car drop us off and pick us up at our room and it was definitely worth it. You get checked in/out at your room saving time Highly recommend this great hotel

I have to share the both positive and negative feedbacks. Positive: Hotel is nice and clean. Closer to airport which is 30mins drive. Buffet breakfast was good as well. Hotel staffs are courteous and helpful. Negative: Looks like the toilet were not cleaned during our 5 days stay. The taps were dirty and rusty. Had to rotate. Called for maintenance but in the end said they will send someone else to rectify and no one came. Sink was clogging even with little water. Far away from all the major activities like Oslob whale shark watching and canyoneering.

The hotel was okay for the price. Prices are meant for members so it is best to check membership if you will stay a while. They dont really tell you to apply before booking. Good place if you want to go for a staycation. Reservations department could do be more accommodating given the level of aspiration the hotel strives for. meh

Its was an anniversary trip, and had been waiting for long time due to staff were checking the anniversary setup of the room, and ended it up give me the room, but there is nothing different from normal room. I called and asked whats the arrangement, they said to call me back but they still didnt do anything. It was ok to me, but not made me waiting so long by saying its arranged. Hair dryer is broken, coral are mostly dead but still a lot fish. Other than that, everything is great!

A 5 star experience indeed. The resort was very well maintained despite the pandemic. Mactan isn't known for its beautiful beaches, but this resort managed to make it look so beautiful. Service was also great, people were kind and friendly. We didn't really explore everything since we enjoyed staying at one point. Food wasn't that great tho, there's nothing special about it. Hope they can improve on that.

A perfect hotel if you are catching an early or late flight. There is a nice pool and a decent buffet for dinner. The domestic terminal is at the end of the car park (2 minute walk) and the hotel offers a free shuttle to the international terminal.
