What an outstanding place. We had a great 3 days with our guide JP, saw so many animals. The food is outstanding, so much talent in the kitchen. I asked the chef to come home with me but couldn't persuade her! There's always next time. The lodge staff are so welcoming and can't do enough for you. Keep up the good work, we will be back.

Just wonderful from beginning to end. Extremely helpful and lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation and food was first class and the game drives exciting and educational. We will definitely return.

We stayed at Nambiti for three nights with friends and had an amazing stay! From the beginning to the end, everything was fantastic. Whilst it wasn’t our first safari, it was our friends, all of us were blown away by our experience. JP our guide was fantastic - not only did he track and show us a variety of animals, he had a great sense of humour and was extremely knowledgable. As a group of four, it was only us and JP on the game drives which was really special, enjoying the drinks and drives itself. The lodge is fantastic, the food and the staff were awesome. Special mention though to JP where we also managed to see elephants drinking from the swimming pool. Great holiday and look forward to our return.

Over the years we have stayed at several private game reserves and we rate the Nambiti plains lodge as one of the best. As soon as we had parked our car we were met by our friendly guide, Jason, who drove us to the lodge itself. There, we were greeted by the manager, Magdal and her assistant, Betty, who gave us a warm towel and a welcome drink. This characterised the whole experience as very personal and individual. We really felt like private guests where nothing was too much trouble. Our lodge room was a beautiful thatched house with its own small water hole, an outside area for sitting, a freestanding bath, two wash basins and a shower together with a large 4 poster double bed brilliantly equipped with mosquito Nets. There was also good Wi-Fi. Our room was a short walk from the main lodge where there was a dining area, a small shop, a lounge area, an open terrace where we ate breakfast and lunch and a lovely swimming pool in front of the water hole. On one afternoon we saw an elephant come to the water all to have a drink! All the meals were outstanding! The real treasure of staying at Nambiti were the game drives with our expert guide, Jason. Generally, there were six to eight of us in the vehicle and we always stopped for a drink as the game drive came to an end. We saw all sorts of wildlife close up including a lion and lioness (and later four lion cubs) two herds of elephants, 2 white rhino, three hippo in a lake, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, Kudu, eland, and lots of antelope. The morning game drive started at 5:30 AM and generally saw us returning to the lodge at about 8:00 AM. The evening game drive started at 4:30 PM and typically ended at about 7:30 PM. The game drives were relaxed, fun and our guide Jason could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful in explaining things. All in all, this was a superb 3 day safari experience and one that I would recommend to anybody. Interestingly, one couple who joined us on the game drive had returned after several years absence and we're staying for five nights.

We had the most incredible stay at Nambiti Plains. The staff, rooms, food, game drives and entire experience was one of he best holidays we have ever had. Our children's first experience at a Big 5 reserve and one they will never forget. Highly recommended.

Excellent attention to ever little detail-Well worth visiting. Small professionally run lodge with excellent food and the most amazing game viewing experience. Watched elephants/Rhino and lions from our bedroom deck-amazing experience including a close call of 2 young male lions attempting to hunt down a black rhino + buck from our rooms deck. WOW
