Motivated to write a review as there was not too much information when I was booking. Location It is outside the scenic area (read paid entry). However it is just 100m from one of the entrances making it easy to enter. Use baidu maps to locate it as it is not correctly pinpointed elsewhere. They do offer a pickup service I think if you call to inform them. Not sure from where though. Rooms 3 storey building with different themed rooms. Beautiful design throughout and modern - such juxtaposition against the surroundings. The main difference with the Mulan lodgings in the scenic area is that there is underfloor heating which makes it a lot more comfortable in winter. The family room I booked had a very nice Kohler bathtub which we took advantage of Food There is no breakfast options by the hotel but there are many food options around and just outside the hotel. Mulan runs a beautifully designed restaurant inside the scenic area which again stands out from the other more traditionally designed restaurants. Prices are a little more but the ambience and service are excellent. Service The reception staff was oddly not fond of making eye contact or any sort of small talk. He does answer directed questions but is nothing close to friendly or warm. He also did not offer any information on checking us in and we had to ask for information re wifi access and entry to scenic area etc the cleaning ladies are very pleasant though. Conclusions Overall, it is a beautiful place to stay in with good location and rooms. There are not much by the way of amenities or service but I would stay here again should I come by Zhouzhuang.

A very cosy and comfortable one night stay at this place inside of Zhou Zhuang, an ancient town/place of attraction. Literally, the most enjoyable stay during my trip to Suzhou and Shanghai. From interior design to decoration, amenities and facilities as well as the owner, one word to describe our stay- fantastic! The owner was very helpful and easy going. She helped us find a good and humourous driver to Shanghai at a reasonable price. And resolved my problem with the WeChat payment issue. Come and stay at this place when you plan a visit to Zhou Zhuang.

The location is quite remote, it is at the end of the ancient town. However it is a quiet and clean place. However, the mattress is not very comfortable. In front of the alley are two friendly vendors selling chestnut cakes, the cakes are also very delicious. The room I booked is on the first floor. The location of the inn is very close to the gate of the scenic spot. There is a river right outside the floor-to-ceiling window. When you push the door, you can see the river. You can walk to the Double Bridge just two steps outside. The room is very clean and sanitary. The facilities are complete and user-friendly. After my children took their exams, they went on a quick trip. This hotel in Kunshan had the highest rating on Ctrip, so I decided to give it a try and spent one night there. The family was not disappointed. The hotel is newly opened. From the lobby to the elevator to the room, it is clean, quiet and not noisy. The front desk was very nice. They upgraded the room type and floor to a room at the far end with three windows and saw the sunrise the next day. It was quite a surprise. The room is full of smart high-tech, Xiaodu can almost control the lights and curtains without using any hands. What's even more amazing is that the child ordered takeout, and it turned out to be a robot. He called first to tell him that the takeout was coming, and then the robot delivered it to the door of the room. The child was excited for most of the day. The gym is open 24 hours a day. We got up early the next morning and went to exercise first before having breakfast. The buffet was pretty good, not as rich as a five-star one, but it still had everything. Check-out is also very convenient and the service staff are very friendly. It is close to Yangcheng Lake and I will consider coming here in the future.

The family room has two beds, one large and one small. It does not have a river view but is quiet. It is enough for a family of four. The boss is very enthusiastic. He packed breakfast and ate it at the lobby table. The boss also helped clean it. There is a river right outside the hotel. There is a guardrail (very wide) along the river where you can sit and rest. It is very comfortable to make a cup of tea and sit by the river in the evening. There are many scenic spots on both sides of the river.
