Jinbi Assembly Hall Boutique Hotel (Kunming Old Street Nanping Pedestrian Street)

Nanping Pedestrian Street Kunming|0.15km from city center
I loved my stay at the classy Jinbi Club Boutique Hotel. The hotel is tucked away in a corner of the pedestrian Jinbi Square fronted by a beautiful traditional Chinese entrance. Once inside the hotel’s beautiful, quiet interior (which includes a spa), you hardly know you are in the center of the city. My room was spacious, modern, immaculately clean and quiet, with a very comfortable bed. In addition to having the square’s tea shops, other artisanal stores, and numerous food stalls right outside your door, Green Lake Park, the Temple of Literature, the bird and flower market and other pedestrian streets and shopping areas are all within a 15-30 minute walk from the hotel. I was also easily able to get a Didi to the Yunnan Nationalities Village and other, more distant places from here, including the airport which is about a 30 minute ride away. Something to note is the convenience of a NAT testing center just outside the square, so pre-departure testing is easy. I want to give a special thanks to the young front desk staff here who provided exceptional service and who went above and beyond to post my forgotten Kindle within hours of my departure of the hotel. It was a pleasure to be greeted by their smiling faces in their beautiful Hanfu attire each time I walked past the desk. As a solo traveler it made all the difference to me to feel as welcomed as I did by the hotel staff. Already planning my next trip to this beautiful city!

In the bustling modern society, I accidentally discovered a historic house hotel hidden in an ancient neighborhood. It was the most unique accommodation experience I have ever experienced. As soon as I walked into the hotel, I was attracted by its profound historical heritage. The ancient architectural style, exquisite wood carvings, and those masonry that have gone through many vicissitudes of life all make me feel like I have traveled to ancient times. Every corner is full of stories, and every light and shadow tells traces of history. The hotel's service impressed me even more. Every staff member is extremely professional and warm and friendly. Their meticulous service allowed me to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the ancient house while also feeling the warmth of home. Whether it was breakfast preparation or room cleaning, they did an impeccable job. The location of this historic hotel is also very good. It is located in the ancient quarter of the city and is surrounded by many historical sites and cultural attractions. Whether you want to explore the city's history or enjoy the city's prosperity, this is an excellent choice. Overall, I highly recommend this historic hotel. It not only has a profound historical heritage and exquisite architectural style, but also has high-quality services and a superior geographical location. Here, you can roam in the long river of history and find the warmth of home in the modern city. This is definitely an unforgettable stay.

What a lovely hotel this is. Located in a beautifully restored historic building in a tourist area that is very popular with people taking photos outside. It is located very close to Line 3 metro (10-minute walk at most) which make it convenient for getting to/from the airport, train station, and Western Hills. When we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly man who gave us a refreshing cool floral drink whilst he checked us in. His English was really good, which was great as we do not speak Chinese. We were shown to our room (Number 5) which was just so nice – large, clean, beautifully decorated, with the most comfortable bed & pillows. The shower was amazing, in fact, I wanted to move in immediately! I was a little concerned when I booked about the fact there is no air conditioning, but I didn’t have to worry. There was a large, powerful ceiling fan and all the windows open (with mosquito screens to keep the nasty creatures out!) to allow the refreshing breeze in. Much nicer than AC, in my opinion. We did not have the breakfast so I can not comment. But every evening, someone came to the room and left us a flask of tea with a small note describing the ingredients and how it would soothe and unwind us. These little touches really made the stay perfect. We were returning to Kunming for one night at the end of our trip, and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel so much, I rebooked for our final night. I would highly recommend and will DEFINITELY stay here again if I return to Kunming

🚉 The location of the homestay is convenient, quiet in the middle of noisy, shopping and food around. 📻 The interior decoration is unique, the facilities are complete, 🛁 the hygiene is impeccable, and there are those intimate small items 🖼️, every small detail in the room shows the owner's taste and intentions. 🏵️ The service is friendly and courteous, which makes people feel comfortable. Especially commendable is the spacious and bright living room and fully equipped kitchen, which makes me feel at home. 👍 I will choose here next time,

The store owner is very nice and the room facilities are very good. Originally there was only one breakfast coupon, but when we saw it, we were given one for free. The breakfast noodles are delicious. It is worth recommending. Like it!

The environment is very good. The front desk lady heard that she was in Kunming for the first time. She specially upgraded the sea view room, clean and hygienic environment, warm service attitude, and looking out the window overlooking the pool, it is worthwhile. Highly recommended,
