Kumamoto Hotel Castle

Originally we only booked a standard double room, but the hotel upgraded us to a newly renovated deluxe double room. I have to admire the thoughtfulness and elegance of the new room. This hotel is the hotel designated by the Japanese royal family when they visit Kumamoto. Although it looks quite historical from the outside, some of the rooms inside have actually been renovated. It is highly recommended for travelers who plan to stay to book their newly renovated rooms. The design of the room is simple but considerate. The soaking tub and shower room adopt the latest design and have a full sense of space. The electric kettle in the room is also a very high-end coffee brewing kettle, which is both fashionable and practical. In addition, the location is very convenient, only 3 minutes away from the bustling Kami****ori shopping area and 5 minutes away from Kumamoto Castle. It is also only 10 minutes away from the newly completed SAKURA MACHI Kumamoto large shopping mall. It is very suitable for self-driving travelers. You can park your car at the hotel and walk to various attractions. Although the hotel staff has limited English skills, they still try their best to answer questions and provide assistance. The attitude is cordial and courteous, reflecting the most polite and sincere side of Japanese people. I highly recommend everyone to stay at Kumamoto Castle Hotel!

I’m going by car, so it’s inconvenient because I don’t know the location. However, it is close to the upper and lower streets, so it is convenient for eating and walking around, and it is also close to Kumamoto Castle. I have seen many Japanese emperors and relatives living there. You can take a picture of Kumamoto Castle from the top floor of the canal, which is quite a distance. However, since it was already late at night at the hotel where we were staying and we had to leave early in the morning, we had to take the picture from the hotel.

The service at this restaurant is very good. There is a middle-aged Japanese man at the front desk who can speak Shanghainese. He is quite reliable! Answered all our questions in Shanghainese and gave careful suggestions! Give him a big thumbs up! It was not check-in time when we arrived, so the front desk arranged storage. When we went to the room in the evening, our luggage had already been put away. Although the facilities are a bit old, there are washlets, the rooms are quite large, and the hygiene is OK! It's within walking distance of the minister's office and very close to the airport line platform! Kumamoto is very happy this time!

If you stay in the castle room, you can see Kumamoto Castle in the distance, and it's very convenient to go shopping downstairs. Parking: Because there were children, I was directed to park in front of the hotel. The parking fee of 1,000 yen will be charged when checking out.
