Hotels near Art-samui in Koh Samui

The large hotel has modern and very clean rooms and a very good room service. The TV in my room did not work. The swimming pool is very nice but unfortunately there is no gym available. You can rent a motorbike there for 300 baht per day (quite expensive) but unfortunately the staff there is not easy to reach when you wanna return the bike. You can park the bike at the nearby Central shopping mall which is quite complicated because the parking space is very narrow. All in all I would recommend the hotel!

The best hotel I’ve stayed ever! It’s located on a cliff, far from noise, great views! There’s free shuttle bus to Lamai beach or Chaweng beach. The hotel owns an App to introduce everything and communicate, very convenient, staff are helpful! The breakfast is fantastic, super delicious! Eggs, drinks, fried rices, etc all you can order! Free flow champagne as well! We didn’t stay in a villa, but the view is good, room is big! There’re 2 infinite pools in hotel, and one private beach! We heard there’re some water sports available but the tide was too strong to do so during our stay! We had a great time, will definitely stay there again!

When we arrived at Ko Samui airport, the transfer service from the hotel worked perfectly. We received a very warm welcome at the hotel and were given our room straight away. The room (Grand Deluxe Room) far exceeded our expectations. It's less of a room and more of a small apartment without a kitchen. The hotel complex is absolutely paradisiacal. Lots of beautiful plants and very well maintained. The beach was amazing, the most beautiful beach we have seen on Ko Samui (we explored the whole island by motorbike that we also rent from the hotel). The sea - turquoise blue clear water. The great thing is that it is a private beach so only accessible to hotel guests and therefore not overcrowded. The food was fantastic. There is a very large selection and there really is something for everyone. The pool area directly on the beach with an included pool bar is very beautiful. And the cleanliness of the whole hotel was excellent. What particularly impressed us and what we have never experienced on our many trips... was the warmth and friendliness of all the staff. Everyone was always helpful, funny and good organized. Friendships developed in this short time, for which we are very grateful. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you have done for us. You gave us a wonderful honeymoon and organized such a beautiful candlelight dinner that we will never forget in our lives. Our stay wasn’t bad here, however you can get much better for the same or less that what we paid for this room. We had a view of a room, however we expected a lake view with it being called that. Not end of the world didn’t spend much time in the hotel anyways. AC - this was great when it was on. But you couldn’t leave it on when you left the room, which means the room is so hot when you return. No blind in the bathroom so it’s boiling in there even with the AC as the sun comes straight through. The room was very big, but filled with nothing. Lots of empty space. From 18:00 roughly, there didn’t seem to be anyone on reception. If you needed anything you had to call a number. They were instantly there - so not sure where they go but it’s close. The doors when closed bang so loud, which can be an issue on a night. The walls are not very sound proof. Lifts were out of order the whole stay. No HotTub like it said on our booking. But not sure if there is one somewhere in the hotel - that you have access too. We hired scooters from here 300B a day and someone drops it off for you, if you want to extend you can do this at reception. The location is perfect. Couldn’t fault it. Wifi is also great! And their laundry service is great too. The staff were amazing, couldn’t do an enough for you. Not a bad stay, not the best. We considered moving so we had a balcony - somewhere to sit on an evening. My rating 6/10 - Unlikely I would stay again, mainly based on things I’d want in a hotel next time.

We stayed at three different hotels/resorts for our honeymoon and by far the most memorable experience was during our stay at the IC. The friendly and helpful staff always went the extra step to be helpful and accommodating. We were able to relax and enjoy all of the services that were made available to us, and enjoy having dates at the different picturesque sights throughout the day. In particular, the speed of the services such as requesting a buggy or ordering room service were extremely quick! We would like to thank all of the wonderful staff who worked hard all day to give us such a wonderful experience. In particular Emily at the lobby was extremely helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived to every time we happened to pass by. Thank you all, for making this once in a lifetime honeymoon truly exceptional. We hope to come again for a longer stay during future anniversaries!

Mid March, strong winds, strong waves, red flag, can’t swim on Chaweng beach. Last year September Chaweng beach water was so calm and flat, so beautiful, picture perfect, best beach in Koh Samui, but in March, not swimmable. But we found no wind, no waves at Choengmon beach! Ozo, excellent breakfast, nice pool, right on beach. Good sunbeds, clean. if you can get one. There is Ozo rule: one towel per person, no saving sunbed, no outside food or drink. We were shocked by these rules. Good for management, but for guests, not feel so good. We never stayed in a hotel in Thailand with such rules. The biggest negative is it is very noisy at night, up to 3 am, many guest noises and can hear next door toilet flushes, and strange scuffling sound at night behind the walls. The bed is very comfortable but we could not sleep because of the sounds. Finally, the room is just too small, for two people. Balcony so small. We stayed one week, then moved to another hotel in Choengmon beach. We will not stay here again. Didn’t have any memorable experience with the staff. The staff were just staff, not friendly, no smiles. Disappointed.

Recently stayed at this hotel for 1 week, arrived from the Airport with no luggage as Bangkok airways lost it, checked in to the hotel and was met by a lovely member of staff who was waiting for me, she offered me a welcome drink on arrival which was very much appreciated after a long flight. After check in, was shown to my room which was a pool side deluxe room with Double bed and En-suite. Room was very clean, spacious and came with Fresh towels, Toiletries, a Mini fridge stocked with beers, satellite T.V, Aircon and some free drinks/snacks. My stay came with free breakfast every morning, which was very handy and the selection was always really nice. Lots of fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, eggs cooked to the way you wanted along with a choice of tea/coffee and fresh juices. Staff are soo friendly and welcoming, they clean your room everyday and provide fresh sheets and towels as well as toiletries. The Hotel is quite modern and staff had decorated the reception for Chinese New Year with lanterns and fairy lights. The position of the hotel is good, about 10 min drive in a taxi to Fisherman's village, which is full of bars/restaurants and shops. The hotel is also right on the beach, so you have the option to swim in the sea or the pool and look out onto the amazing views. I loved my stay at this hotel and would highly recommend! (Only negative thing I can think of is that the Pool Bar was never open, so it would be good to see this open in the future).

We stayed in a King Pool View room which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Amaya Restaurant was excellent. There were many options for breakfast and the meals were great. Prego Italian Restaurant was exceptional, both in terms of food and service. Couldn't fault any of the Amari staff. Fantastic service and friendly smiles from everyone including Management, Reception, Restaurant staff, Spa staff, Road Crossing staff, Maintenance and Housekeeping. Special mentions go to the lovely hosts Wee and Keng who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and helped us with anything we needed to know. Also Noung who we nicknamed ”the hardest working man in Thailand”. He never stopped as he worked tirelessly in Amaya Restaurant and around the hotel grounds. The resort was a little away from the hustle and bustle but an easy walk into the centre of town. Would recommend Amari to anybody thinking of staying at Chaweng and look forward to returning there in the future.

My recent three-night stay at the Renaissance Koh Samui was an enchanting journey, filled with an exceptional level of service that beautifully compensated for the hotel's aging facilities. From the outset, the resort's fusion of Asian and Thai architectural elegance warmly welcomed us, accentuated by the delicate blend of styles and the presence of wood-clad interior columns, real wood floors and furniture. This seamless integration of tradition and geographical context, with brick and tropical roof tiles, created a captivating atmosphere. The lush foliage and well-grown trees embraced the surroundings, creating a vivid backdrop that captured the essence of the beachfront location. While time had etched its marks on the facility, the fusion of architectural styles and natural elements into the design remained a captivating feature. Our overall experience was outstanding, even as we encountered a few unforeseen challenges. On our second night, our beachfront BBQ plans were thwarted by the weather. The staff's quick thinking and adaptability came to the forefront as they seamlessly transitioned the venue to an indoor space. The speed and willingness with which the entire BBQ setup was moved indoors showcased the dedication to providing the best service possible. Moreover, on our third night, the pool bar staff went above and beyond by suggesting a private beachfront dinner to make up for the previous night's interruption. Though this well-intentioned plan was again impacted by the weather, their commitment to ensuring our satisfaction remained unwavering. What truly set this experience apart was the unwavering dedication of the staff. Their warmth and attentiveness overshadowed any inconveniences we faced. The restaurant and bar team, led by K. Woody, Honey, and Ken, consistently exceeded our expectations. Their personalized service made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The culinary journey, particularly the breakfast led by Executive Chef Chef Seng, was a delight. Despite the aging signs of the facilities, the culinary offerings maintained an impeccable standard. The coconut water coffee, and Samui Egg Benedict were exceptional, showcasing Chef Seng's expertise in curating a blend of local and international flavors. In summary, my stay at the Renaissance Koh Samui was a testament to the power of exceptional service to transcend the limitations of aging facilities. The resort's captivating fusion of architectural styles, the embracing of its environment, and the staff's dedication created a memorable retreat. The team's responsiveness, especially during weather-related interruptions, demonstrated their commitment to guest satisfaction. As I reflect on my stay, it is clear that the warmth of hospitality and the genuine care extended by the team are what truly define the Renaissance Koh Samui.

We stayed here for 6 nights. in January 2023. Staff were friendly, respectful, accommodating & wanted to make our stay wonderful. Special thanks to a lady who ensured our room was really special and cleaned. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and an old man was there, paying attention to all the guests. The hotel in ideally located right on a road opposite of Chaweng Noi beach that is very quiet and amazing place to suntan and relax. A seven eleven is near by the Hotel just 10 min walk. it is 100 Baht to take into the town center by tuk tuk. We rent a motorbike from the hotel which was brand new and we did not need to pay for a taxi anymore. The hotel restaurant offers a variety of foods & overlooks a nice pool with lovely setting. I would definitely come back here & would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you Chaweng Noi Pool Villa for an amazing holiday.
