Well located hotel in the center of Khon Kaen. The high floor rooms have excellent views and are super-spacious. Very comfortable bed. Incredibly friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful service. Unfortunately the hotel feels like it is in desperate need of an overhaul/renovation, as a lot of the decor is looking stuck in a time warp from 1989. For the price, however - I would stay here again.

After a grand opening, I wanted to take a few days to relax before heading home. The room is amazing, and the food is incredible (I recommend Italian food). I look forward to returning. On the 28th floor, the highlight is a glass bridge that is 105 meters long. Enjoy the romantic evening atmosphere.

Really modern and well appointed hotel. Probably the most modern in Khon Kaen. Restaurants are decent and not overly priced like other hotels in the area. I stay here because it’s new and there is probably the best gym in the city a 2 min walk from there called Mega Gym. The only issue I had was for a super modern hotel the rooms have old flat screens that are not HDMI compatible. Very strange to be honest as the older hotels in Khon Kaen all have smart TVs. This actually caused me to move during my 2 week stay in the city. Besides that very nice hotel and great staff.

From the outside, the hotel looks nice - almost like a resort, and the lobby is impressively ”artsy” looking. However, the room looks just TOO plain and ordinary - no artwork, no painting, no different colours - simply boring! It's as if most of the $ have been spent on the external looks and the beautiful rooftop, so there's not enough $ to decorate the rooms. The hotel also looks like it's still undergoing renovation, especially in the rooftop dining area. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Bathing area is small, and instead of a glass door, a cheap plastic shower screen is used - seriously? I also find not much thoughts have been given to the practicality of the design of the bathroom - the shower head faces the shower screen, thus splashing water all over the floor. Both bathroom and room are also dim. Language-wise, the staffs are not very proficient in English. The hotel is also situated very close to the Khon Kaen Lake, as well as walking distance to the famous temple - Wat Phra Mahathat. Food-wise, there are also some eateries and restaurants around, including a 7-Eleven. (Note: Dining at the rooftop is not expensive, so it's a good idea to enjoy the night view from the roof while dining too.) Room-wise, the room I had faced the afternoon sun, which makes it extra hot. Air-conditioning is also not very cold. Sadly, internet is spotty - most of the time slow, and one frequently loses connection.

Didnt prebook, just driving past and decided to stay, its advertising the price on a banner outside(750 baht). Which is helpful. Plenty of parking, clean tidy reception and the staff spoke very good english. The room is large enough with a king sized bed and small balcony but my room didnt have a view. All around the hotel are many buffet style restaurants and its close to a night market alongside the lake which has an incredible choice of foods. The tv has a few english speaking channels. For me the location was perfect because i wanted to stay close to the lake.

We stayed at the Mantra Varee for 1 night in May 2019 when visiting the Green Market. We did think that it would be within walking distance to the market but on advice of hotel staff we used a taxi for the short drive! Following a swift check in with the very pleasant staff we were lead to our superior room. Having paid only £16 (with a small promo included) I was instantly surprised at how big it was! In fact every aspect of the room was better than I expected for the price. Stylish decor with a decent bed, shower and wifi. Small negatives would be not a fat lot of storage if staying for more than a couple of days and then there was the bed surround. Looked good but a bit faffy and meant you had to get out of bed twice, visit and you'll see what I mean! On exploring the location of the hotel there's not a great deal in the close proximity. There is a 7-11 roughly 200 yards away and if you walk for 11 minutes you reach the neat little Fairy Mall. We had a mooch here and ate some really decent food in the court. The hotel has a pool and gym, neither of which I got to use but I took a look. The pool was pleasant looking for a quick dip but not really big enough for lengths. The gym was what I would call a token gym ie. small and poorly equipped. We did eat breakfast at the Mantra Varee and I would describe it as very so so. There is very limited choice on offer at the buffet. I had rice soup which was bland and unseasoned. There is a 'nespresso' style machine for coffee with buttons to select all manner of fancy coffees but whatever you press you end up with watery black coffee! I wouldn't choose breakfast as an option unless it was included! On the whole, the Mantra Varee is a good budget choice with an ok location and friendly staff. I would stay here again.

Sirin Hotel & Resident sits on the edge of the central business district (CBD) in Khon Kaen City. It is an economical, friendly and comfortable accommodation option for those travelling into the area, be it for business or pleasure. One of the great features in my room, was the amazing television, with over 100 cable channels, plus smart TV functionality for; YouTube, Netflix, LINE TV etc. There is an in-house restaurant serving breakfast daily and I found the staff had excellent English language proficiency and nothing (from organising transport to sorting room service issues), was too much trouble. Nice retro decor throughout the hotel and good, sound proofing acoustics, completed the picture of a very happy stay, for yours truly (see my YouTube vlog) at the Sirin Hotel and Residence in Khon Kaen City, Isaan, Thailand.

Good location next to Wat Sri Nuan, late check-in Parking is a little less. The room is spacious but old according to the price. Like converted from an apartment to a school The bed is not very comfortable. But the ear pillows are good, the bathroom has water dripping all the time. Secretly, there are some mold stains, the price is not very bad, but probably won't go to rest again. The day I went to the elevator is broken. Walk up to the 3rd floor, the stairs are very narrow and tall.

Rooms are basic, but large, clean, and more than OK considering the price. There's an elevator so going up won't be a problem even for older people. Small area to sit in front of the reception (but away from the main street as it's kind of ”inside” the building) is nice. Wi-Fi is good. The staff speaks very limited English, but probably it won't be a major problem if you've reached Khon Kaen at the first place. There's a nice Chinese temple across the road, Big C mini, 7 eleven and some local restaurants are not far away (5-7 minutes walk), for more options, head towards the lake. Overall, liked this place and would stay again if in Khon Kaen.

The service of the hotel was unsatisfactory. I have something to ask, so I go down to the first floor and go to the place where the owner is, and I'm busy telling me to go over there, saying that it's not a lobby. It was about 5 minutes late on the day of check-out, but I knocked on the door saying that the check-out time was 5 minutes later ^^ The location seems ambiguous.

So far, it's actually okay. The indoor swimming pool is also an outdoor swimming pool. Our complaint (Defective safes, non-functional TVs and defective hinged closets) were quickly processed and repaired. We hope that the request to put a chair on the balcony has also been actively processed and provided. Breakfast Asian👍 and American👍. The food in the restaurant is great and inexpensive. Sufficient parking spaces are available and free of charge. We will be back.

We stayed in a triple room for 2 nights. The room itself was spacious and furnished like a studio-room condominium. The hotel location is a bit far from downtown area but there're several good and inexpensive restaurants nearby, just walking. Wifi in the room was not stable and quite slow. Cleanliness is an area for improvement, but for now still acceptable. Staff were nice and friendly as expected. There's an complimentary snack station on the ground floor. A parking lot was behind the hotel for free of charge.
